Ishika pov
I was having a night out with my friend, Anu. She lives three floors above mine and Aaru
's apartment. Aaru was busy at the hospital. I being the crazy one decided to prank call people. We started calling the most absurd people. Before ending our mischief we had to make one last call, which was Anu's friend, Kabir. Anu, told me he's a businessman, but is very nice in nature . Also he was a gentleman . Now I was curious to see how this goes!
I dialled his number with excitement and he answered, " I asked 'hi, is this Kabir'.
His confirmation led me to asking. 'Do u remember me?' He said 'no,who are you'? I playfully, teased him by telling him 'how can you forget me? We hooked up last night.'
He said ' oh did we?' He proceed to ask my name. I said how can you forget my name? He said I was really drunk last night so I don't remember. I said 'yes, I know I was also drunk and then you gave me your number so that I can call you and we can meet'. He said 'oh, and where did we meet?' . I said 'we meet at the bar!'
He realised it's a prank call and said
' hi Anu.' We burst out laughing because he found out that it was Anu. She told it was her friend talking aka me , and asked him if he was coming to the party, which was in two days later, he said yes.
Before hanging up. I complimented his voice telling him that it was sexy. He said he found my voice nice which gave me butterflies for some reason . Aarohi came home as soon as I cut the call and our chatter made it clear to Aarohi that me and Anu were prank calling people .
Kabir pov
After a tiring day at work. I came home and had dinner with my family. My mother started questioning me about my marriage plans and Ishika's image popped up in my head and I started blushing. My brother and cousins noticed this and started teasing me about it saying 'bhai how is bhabhi' , 'who is she?', 'when did u meet her?' , 'how did u meet her' and more such questions. My mother scolded them saying 'stop troubling my son'. Mother greatest to the rescue.
After dinner I went to my room and started watching tv. I then received a calll from an unknown number. I answered the call and it turned out to be a prank call. For a sec I thought that it was Ishika but my subconsciousness scolded me for going crazy after a girl I saw for a split second today. It was Anu who called , with her friend. She asked me about the party and I gave my confirmation that I was coming. Then her friend complimented my voice saying it was sexy and I got butterflies listening to her compliment. I slept peacefully that night thinking about Ishika
