THIS IS A MADE UP AU BY ME DONT TAKR IT SERIOUSLY

—————

Tommyinnit's POV.

—————

I felt the cold winter breeze fall past and caress the loose strands of my hair with each swift howl of the cool wind.

My bare and scratched sword was clentched tightly in my right hand, my knuckles whitening on both.

"Dream.. what do you want from me?"

The words spilt helplessly out of my mouth.

Tubbo stood a few paces behind me, his sword also gripped heavily in both of his hands.

"A lot of things, Tommy."

The masked man replied. He had the the netherite sword I used to hold in my hands placed now on his rough, uncaring ones.

"a lot of things."

He repeated.

"I want my sword back, Dream. I'll do anything."

I muttered, though my voice almost a plea. And just as I thought he wouldn't reply and instead cut my head off, he did.

"Kill Tubbo."

He deadpanned.

I stayed silent.

My muscles.. tensed? Loosened? I wasn't sure, but they did something as he stood up straight, my grip on my rusted diamond sword nearly loosening.

"..w..what..?"

My voice was shakey as the words just about managed to come out. My breathing became just a bit more heavier as I spoke again.

"I can't kill Tubbo, I can't- can't I do something else? I- I-"

I panicked, glancing briefly back at Tubbo.

Shit.

His face was pale, and he was just as horrified as me. He stared back at me with a look that said: 'Don't. Dont. Don't. Don't. Do-'

The sudden voices in my head swirled around as I shoved them back down with a shake of my head.

I glanced back at Dream.

"Dream, you don't understand. Tubbo- Tubbo's like my brother- yeah, my brother, I guess. Or like- my sidekick, and bestfriend- just like you and George, ey? You and George are bestfriends! Right?"

Tommy laughed slightly, trying to calm himself down and clearly trying his best not to have a full on panic attack right then and there.

"Tommy, you can't kill me-"

"I KNOW!"

I yelled back unexpectedly, Tubbo flinching from the sudden noise.

"Yes you will."

The older man hissed.

"I have your sword, Tommy. The sword. The sword that Techno gave you.. remember? Before he di-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

I interrupted.

"Sorry- shit. Sorry. But I can't kill him."

I stammered.

"You can and you will."

"I can't."

"You can."

"I cannot."

"Yes you can. Just.. kill him."

I shook my head in disbelief. Though, for a brief moment, I did just glance at the shining sword in Dreams hands.

'Thats mine.'

I thought.

"..Tommy..?"

Tubbo's weak voice said, splitting my thoughts.

"You.. you're not actually thinking of doing it. Right?"

I stayed silent. I didn't look at him.

I was too scared to.

"Tommy, you can't do that. You can't do this. It's just a sword-"

Tubbo continued, but I stopped him.

"It's not just a sword though. Is it? It's.. it's Techno's sword. The sword. The nightblade."

I clentched my teeth, words falling.

Through my hesitation, I turned around. The voices in my head swirling.

'KILL HIM.'

'BLOOD.'

'DO IT FOR TECHNO.'

'FIGHT.'

I was split out of my.. my? Thoughts? By the sound of a yell from Tubbo.

I flicked back to reality when I realised I had subconsciously raised my sword to him.

"TOMMY!"

He screamed, taking a large step back. But he couldn't go far as the wall of a village house stood tall behind him.

I would've lowered my sword.

But I couldnt.

Something was stopping me.

"I'm sorry, tubbo. But I need that sword."

I muttered, taking a step closer, raising the sword more.

"Tommy, just listen."

I nodded, signalling I was listening.

"Tommy. Who am I? I'm.. I'm your best friend. Right? Right? You- you said so yourself."

"I know I did. And you are."

"..but.. this isn't what bestfriend do, Tommy. What if I'm gone for good? What am I without you?"

I paused.

"yourself."

The shorter boy shook his head.

"No. No. No. No. Tommy i am nothing without you. Understand?"

I stayed quiet for a bit again.

"But I don't help you. I just make things worse for you."

"You don't! You really don't. You make things better."

"I'm sorry."

Our voices overlapped as Tubbo continued speaking, only so did I as my sword felt closer to Tubbo's neck.

"I'm nothing without you."

"You're everything without me."

"I'm lonely without you."

"I drive everyone around you away."

"You helped me find what true friendship is."

"This isn't true friendship."

"You showed me freedom."

"This isn't freedom."

"It i-"

My sword pierced through his chest.

"it's pain."
