I Wanna Be Yours

Chapter 1

So this story mainly revolves around Mayank and Abhi. These 2 are my pookies and I am not able to see a good Abhiyank ff so thought to write it.

Mayank is a nerd who is a quiet, shy and introverted guy.
Studying in Xxx college isn't easy. It is the college of the wealthy people. So basically he entered the school through scholarship.
Coming from a middle class family where his father is a Lab technician and mother is a housewife. Things don't also go around in his favour.
He is a nerd because situation is like that. He knows that education is the only shield that can protect him from this lifestyle.

Mayank took a deep breath as he was standing in front of college gate.
Mayank was in simple jeans and white shirt but as he entered the college he could feel the aura. Rich people, motorbikes, lambos, Porsche and what not parked in the parkings. He could see from here. The environment is dense. People talking and no one giving him attention for which he is thankful. He picked up his bags and made his way to hostel room.
He was allotted in Hostel 2, room no.15.
Roomate: Ishan kishan
He read the name and make his way to the room.
As he knocked on the door a small person shorter than him opened the door. Mayank guessed he may be Ishan. The person looked at him curiously
"Yes?" the person said
"Mayank." Mayank said as anxiety filled his brain.

Meeting and talking to new people is always tough for him. It's not that he never tried, he did, but then he regrets and feels embarrassed after every interaction.

The person smiled at him and extended his hand for a handshake.
Mayank looked at hand and put his bag down and did handshake

" So you are my new roommates. Come in come in. "
Mayank entered and saw his room two beds and two study table situated at the corners.
"So I have already decided my side and no changing now" Ishan said as he threw himself on the bed.
Ishan feels a energetic person with bubbly personality.

Markande didn't say anything and put his bags down and started settling his things.
Ishan kept looking at him reading his every move.

" So why didn't you came in 1st year?"
Ishan asked as Mayank was unpacking his stuff.
"Family issue" mayank replied.
Ishan understood and smiled at him

"my father has textile business and mother is an engineer. I am the only child. " Ishan said as he wants to befriend the cute looking creature.
Mayank replied with ohhh.

"I am here through scholarship"
Ishan looked at him amused
"Thank you are definitely intelligent"
Ishan remarked.
Mayank just shrugged his shoulders.

"So let me tell you the rules of this college. This college is fucked. Though teaching is great but student are fucked up. " Mayank listening him attentively.
Ishan stood up from bed and take a ruler fron the table to make it look serious. Ishan looked like a kindergarten teacher teaching toddlers. Well mayank was listening to him like a toddler.

"Breakfast 8o'clock be on time otherwise no breakfast
Classes from 9-5  lunch at 2.
Dinner at 8 be on time otherwise no dinner. " Ishan continued.
" What's your stream??? " Ishan questiond?
" Medicines" mayank continued.
Ishan smiled and gave him thumbs up.
" Me too. I would forward you the time table. Now the main problem is not about dinner or breakfast. It's about people. Don't get in the fights. Especially when you are scholarship student. Don't get me wrong I am not like them but they don't like people on scholarship. So avoid them. There is a group called "The group X" consisting 4 people. Try to make distance from them. Whenever they talk just talk respectfully and don't get on there nerves okay."

Mayank who just came here for study nodded his head as it doesn't matter to him. He just here for 3 years and then He would be applying for jobs.

" Good now give me your number and unpacks your bags then we will go for dinner" Ishan smiled at him.
Mayank is starting to like his smile now.

Mayank settled him self on bed after realising a tiring sigh as he just finished with setting his things.
Ishan who is busy scrolling his phone and Mayank started to look at his phone as he saw the time in his broken glass screen. His phone is very old well almost 5 yrs 🗿.
But "5 saal phone tikane ka ghamand hai 🗿" is his fav line.
He saw the time 7:15 he video called his parents phone informing about himself and also told about Ishan . His parents were now in relief as ishan also introduced himself. Mayank liked ishan he didn't looked down on him as he have thought instead he greeted his parents very nicely.
His parents were happy seeing that Ishan is there for their kid.
As it was the dinner time so the cut the call and went to eat their dinner.

Mayank basically threw himself on bed.
It was a tiring day after all.
Mayank slowly drove to dream land without knowing this college year goona be a big rollercoaster.
