Chapter 14

Flashback
Abhi and Shubman went to the party that they had to attend. Abhi was thankful that Shubman was here with him.
Abhi and Shubhman made their way as Abhi spotted his father talking in a sophisticated manner with a big business man.
Abhi's father spotted him and excused himself and made his way towards abhi.
Abhi smiled at his father as His father hugged him.
"Come with me Abhisek I want you to meet someone" As Abhi's father dragged him to a group of Men who were probably in their late 30s.
Abhi rolled his eyes as he let himself be dragged.
"Mr. Zen here is my son and abhi this is our new business partner Mr. Zen" Abhi gave him a formal smile as He shook his hand firmly.
"So Mr. Abhisek Sharma you ready for taking our business " Mr Zen asked as the question made him confused
" Sorry? " Abhishek asked and looked at his father smiling and hugged Mr Zen.
"Ohhh so you are ready for the marriage" Abhi dad laughed and was  congratulated.
Abhi understanding the whole thing

"I can't do this" Abhisek said loud enough for Mr. Zen to hear
"Is there any problem Sharma"
Abhi father to stunned and finally shook his head "no problem"
As he dragged Abhi out in the lawn.
"What was that Abhisek" His dad shouted
"I can't do this dad. I can't" Abhisek said tears forming in his eyes out of frustration.
"But son he is ready to give you his company and no doubt he has a beautiful daughter who would take care of you" Father held his shoulder as Abhisek jerked behind and sat on the bench and his father took the seat next to him.

"I already love someone and he's my life dad" Abhisek said looked down nervously.
Silent took over them as the wind was hitting his face.

He wants to go to Home. Mayank.

Abhishek hesitantly looked up and saw his father looking infront. At the tree. Cherry blossom tree. Mother's favourite tree.

Suddenly his father sighed and kept his hands on Abhisek shoulder.
"You love him?" Father questioned.
"More than myself " Abhi answered without holding back.
" What's his name? "
" Mayank Markande "
" Have you confessed? "
"yup "
" What was the answer? " Father asked. .
Abhishek sighed as the he explained everything about Mayank. Him being scared of falling and all . Everything.
Listening to everything his father burst out laughing and hit his son's head

" I didn't know you were an idiot who is so much in love" as he held his stomach from laughter.
Abhi was surprised by the way his father reacted but also joined in laughing.

"I was also like you. Your mother had walls around her 24/7. She was very good at hiding emotions. But I loved to break that wall. When she finally said yes I was in cloud nine" Abhi's father confessed looking at the cherry blossom tree.

" But how you made her realise? " abhi asked

" By making her jealous. That was the best idea I could come up with and she was the first one to kiss me" Abhi father chuckled remembering his wife. Her beautiful smile. Her angry pout. Everything.
"You miss her don't you?" Abhishek asked

"A lot. Every second. Every minute. My breath belongs to her. My heart. My eyes. My body. Everything. Nothing is mine. It's all her"
His father said a he played with his lover's ring.

" I am sorry. For not being a good dad. I truly forgot myself. I really love you my son. It's for you only I worked hard so that I could give you comfort, luxury as I promised your mother. Sorry for not being there" As Abhi father broke down and Abhi hugged his father tightly.

" I can never hate you dad . Never. You are my superhero. You gave me everything. Thanks for everything dad. " as they both let their emotions flow.

Home. Finally his father made him feel like home. The only person that was missing was Mayank.

After 5 min of crying Abhi and his father gathered themselves.

"Now go and get your man Son" father said.
"But how dad?" abhi asked sadly.
"I have a plan My son" As father winked at him and took out his phone calling the college head committee to organise a party for the college students
"You truly are a genius" As Abhi hugged his dad who hugged him back tightly.
Complete.Abhi felt complete.
and rest is history.
