I wrote this poem for Jahlil some one that you'd never completely understand or even why our friendship etc was so stuck
when I was a little girl I was told to stay away from boys like you .
when I was a little girl I wasn't allowed to go near or play w the boys like u.
soon I found out because I disobeyed the rules and that's when I met you.
Guys like you break hearts and open the minds of little girls like me.
you let me see the world through u and what you've experienced with me will forever be with me tucked away in my pocket for safe keepings
you told me let that imagination of mine run wild , set it free and then you'll be
more open to the world that was created around us. You let my rhythm flow so freely .
the I could care less and I am who I am because America is free and so are we.
Mama always told me
stay away from boys like you.
but she didn't know that I'd already laid eyes on you .
you opened me up and helped me become the wild child that blossomed into a beautiful young lady I'm glade that I met a boy like you.
- I'm going to update you guys I promise I leave for college August 20th and I don't want to leave you guys hanging because things will be hectic hopefully I have half of the book by July 31st
