** Friday **

Today was: the day before winterbreak, presentations, concert, and also Niall's detention...

I swear; time doesn't only fly when you're having fun. It also does when there's a day you hope never comes. But like life itself, the world is just against you and wants you to suffer.

The bell's ring sends the most unpleasant sound down the halls of Anderson Hale Academy signaling everyone that it's first period. Man, you may think that I'd be excited now, since it's the last day before break, but sadly no. Reluctantly, I stepped into the first class of the day.

"Zayn! What took you so long, I almost thought you ditched." Selena complained once again. This presentation really is starting to get on my nerves. She kept looking at me. "Did you memorize it?" she asked me. I was debating in my mind, whether I should tell her I didn't or did not, because she'd probably give me another lecture if I did.

"Let me guess. You didn't." she rolled her eyes sighing out the longest sigh I've ever heard. I gave her a apologetical look. "I didn't have time, okay?" I lied, but it's not like she'd believe me. "Great. Do you guys have an academic death wish or something?!" she groaned. Wait, don't tell me. I'm assuming that Justin and Niall didn't bother either. I just wasn't in the mood to care about school lately.

"Okay, class. Get ready for presentations, I'm calling up groups in two minutes." Ms. Bates projected from the corner at her desk.

"Two minutes guys. What are we going to do?!" Selena muttered anxiously. Well, I don't know? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually starting to get a little worried. Ahh, maybe I should've at least read the script. Niall and Justin weren't laying down on their desks anymore, instead, they were sitting completely erect in their seats. "Okay, listen guys. Here's what we're gonna to do." Selena said and we huddled together.

"Everyone's going to keep their original roles; Niall is Lincoln, I'm Mary Todd Lincoln, the wife. Zayn, you're David Derickson, and Justin is Joshua Speed." Selena explained. Niall began to speak up sounding a little nervous. "Okay, so what's the storyline?" he asked. Selena sighed out an 'uhh' before answering him. "It's too much to explain right now. But, it's supposed to be about Lincoln, which is you, preparing the inauguration speech for your presidency." Niall nodded a little unsurely. "Then? What am I supposed to say?" he asked. That was a really good question. What were we supposed to say?

But before Selena could talk again, our teacher spoke up. "Alright, first group to present is..." Ms. Bates said, pulling a strip of paper out of a jar. She read out the name. "Niall Horan's group!" Crap, that was us! What are we supposed to say?! We kept our eyes on Selena and she mouthed out the words in a barely audible voice, which I assumed was, "just wing it." We were going to wing this project. What the hell?

"Well? Do you guys want to fail?" Ms. Bates asked. We all shook our heads. "Then get up there now!" she shouted. I hesitantly walked to the front of the room. This is it. Selena began the introduction.

"This skit takes place at the time right before Abraham Lincoln's inauguration. Niall Horan will play as Abraham Lincoln. Justin Bieber as Joshua Fry. Zayn Malik as David Derickson, and me as Mary Todd Lincoln." Selena projected clearly.

Everyone continued to stare at us with blank emotionless faces. Niall pulled up a desk to act as a prop, then sat down in it, pretending to be write.

"Abe, how's the speech coming along," Justin asked Niall, stepping into the scene. "Well, it's almost complete." Niall responded, and looked up at him. "It's about time. You've been working on that the whole day." Justin stated, in a whiny tone.
