Charlie stood in front of the crackling fire in her and Alastor's private office in the Hazbin Hotel, her mind racing with thoughts of the recent events that had unfolded. She had called her parents, Lucifer and Lilith, asking them to oversee Hell while she and Alastor focused on the hotel. But what she had not expected was her father's response. "Your mother and I are moving to Heaven," Lucifer had said before abruptly hanging up on her. The news left Charlie feeling lost and confused, her world crumbling around her. Alastor looked up from his desk, his ears twitching slightly as he observed Charlie's distraught expression. Without a word, he got up and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist in a comforting gesture. "Charlie, we'll figure this out. We always do," Alastor assured her, his voice soft and reassuring. But Charlie pulled away from him, her eyes flashing with anger and frustration. "How can we handle this, Al? We're supposed to be the King and Queen of Hell, and yet our own people don't even respect me. My abusive ex-fiance is here, in our home, around our fawns, and now my parents are abandoning Hell for Heaven. What does that say about me? Maybe everyone was right. Maybe I am just a pathetic excuse for a demon." Alastor's expression softened as he listened to Charlie's outburst, his heart aching for the woman he loved. He reached out to touch her arm gently, but Charlie shrugged him off. "I can't do this, Al. I can't handle all of this on my own," Charlie said, her voice breaking with emotion. Alastor took a deep breath, trying to calm himself before responding. "You're not alone, Charlie. You have me. We'll face this together, just like we always do." But Charlie shook her head, her eyes filled with tears. "I don't know if I can do this anymore, Al. Everything is falling apart, and I don't know how to fix it."
The tension in the room was palpable as the two demons stood facing each other, the weight of their responsibilities pressing down on them. Alastor reached out to take Charlie's hands in his, his eyes searching hers for any sign of hope.
"We'll figure it out, my demon belle. We always do," Alastor said, his voice filled with determination. But Charlie pulled away once again, her resolve crumbling before his eyes. "I don't know if I believe that anymore, Al. Maybe it's time for me to face the truth. Maybe I'm not cut out for this after all." Alastor's heart sank as he watched Charlie turn away from him, her shoulders slumped with defeat. He knew that they were facing a difficult road ahead, but he refused to give up on her. "Charlotte, listen to me. You are the strongest demoness I know. You have a heart of gold and a spirit that shines brighter than any star. You are the Queen of Hell, and no one can take that away from you," Alastor said, his voice filled with passion. Charlie turned to face him once again, her eyes filled with uncertainty. "But what if I'm not enough, Al? What if I'm not strong enough to save Hell and keep our family together?" Alastor took her hands in his, squeezing them gently as he looked into her eyes with unwavering determination. "You are more than enough, Charlie. You are everything to me, and I will stand by your side, as your husband and as your King, no matter what challenges we face. Together, we can overcome anything." A moment of silence passed between them as Charlie absorbed Alastor's words, feeling a glimmer of hope flicker within her. She knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but she also knew that with Alastor by her side, she could face anything. "Thank you, Al. I don't know what I would do without you," Charlie said, her voice filled with gratitude. Alastor smiled warmly at her, his eyes shining with love and devotion. "You'll never have to find out, darling. I will always be here for you, no matter what."

😈A few hours later 😇

Charlie watched from a distance as her daughter Liliana played with her younger siblings, Alarik and Aurora, behind the Hazbin Hotel in the courtyard that Alastor conjured up for their three children to play in with his magic. She couldn't help but smile as she saw the blonde and red ombre hair of her oldest child flying in the wind as she ran around with the twins, who look just like their father, Alastor. The only difference between them is that Aurora has mismatched red and topaz eyes just like her older sister. The twins looked so alike, with their red ears laying flat in joy. Suddenly, a voice behind her made her tense up. "They look just like their parents, don't they?" the voice said. Charlie turned around to see her ex-fiancé Seviathan standing there, a sinister look in his green eyes. "What do you want, Seviathan?" Charlie asked, her voice trembling. She hadn't seen him in years, and she certainly hadn't expected him to show up at her home unannounced. Seviathan smirked, his gaze cold and calculating. "I want what is rightfully mine," he said. "Your father's throne belongs to me, not to you and that Sinner of a husband of yours." Charlie's heart skipped a beat at his words. Seviathan had always been power-hungry, but she never imagined he would come after her and her family like this. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "I mean that I will do anything to become King of Hell, with you as my wife and Queen," Seviathan said, his tone chilling. "Even if it means going after and hurting everyone you love, including your children." Charlie felt a wave of fear wash over her. She had worked so hard to build a safe and happy life for her family, and now Seviathan was threatening to destroy it all. She watched as he walked away, leaving her shaking and wide-eyed with terror. The three demon children laughed and chased each other, their innocent joy filling the air with happiness. But for Charlie, the moment was clouded with fear and uncertainty. As she watched her children play, her mind was consumed with thoughts of Seviathan, her abusive ex-fiance who had threatened her throne and her family. She couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in her stomach, her topaz eyes wide with fear as she played out the possible scenarios in her head. A gentle hand on her shoulder made Charlie jump and spin around quickly, getting into a defensive position before relaxing when she saw it was Alastor, her red stag demon husband. His ears were laid flat against his head in concern, his crimson eyes filled with worry as he asked, "Are you alright, my love?"
Charlie shook her head, the tears welling up in her eyes as she whispered, "No, Al. I'm not fine. Seviathan just threatened my throne and my family. He said he'll stop at nothing to be the King of Hell, and wants me as his Queen. He's ruthless, power-hungry, and unpredictable. He'll go after everyone I love, including our fawns. What are we going to do?" Alastor's heart ached at the fear and desperation in his wife's voice. Wrapping his arms protectively around her, he growled lowly, his voice filled with determination. "We will not let him harm our family, Charlie. I will protect you and our children with everything I have. Seviathan will regret ever crossing us." They stood in the courtyard, clinging to each other as the sky darkened above them. The weight of Seviathan's threats hung heavy in the air, but in that moment, Charlie and Alastor knew that they were stronger together. Love would be their shield against the darkness that threatened to consume them. As night fell over the Hazbin Hotel, the stars began to twinkle in the sky, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always a glimmer of hope. Charlie and Alastor held onto that hope with all their might, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. The children continued to play in the courtyard, their laughter mingling with the soft sound of the evening breeze. Liliana looked up at her parents, unaware of the turmoil that gripped their hearts. She smiled brightly, a beacon of light in the midst of their storm. Charlie and Alastor exchanged a glance, a silent promise passing between them. They would do whatever it took to keep their family safe, to protect the ones they loved from the darkness that threatened to consume them. And as they watched their children play, a sense of fierce determination settled in their hearts.
