"(N/N)-ah," Jiyoung started, "I am freaking the fuck out." Her eyes were wide, but her voice was calm, still in shock. "Why is there a goblin wearing rags that's killing everyone? This is so fucking crazy; I can't believe it. Do you know anything about what's going on?"

(Y/N) bit her lip before responding. "Think of this as a game."

"A... game?"

"It's simple. Every game has rules. We just need to follow them."

"What...?"

"We just have to figure out what those rules are." (Y/N) finished. Her cool exterior contrasted her inner thoughts. 'Holy shit, that sounded cool! Haha, I just stole one of Kim Dokja's lines-well, can it be considered stealing even though he still says it? Whatever, it doesn't matter.'

(Y/N) took a deep breath before looking around the cabin. It was still frightening to see the dead bodies on the ground. It'd actually be more weird if it wasn't.

"Someone! Please open the door!" A man yelled desperately as he banged on the subway door.

"Try breaking it with a hammer!" Someone suggested.

"Okay, everyone! Calm down. Take a deep breath, and stop what you're doing." A man spoke up, attempting to calm the people in the train car. He was a sturdy man with short cut hair, one head taller than the average height."Have you all calmed down? May I have your attention for a moment?"

"Gyatt." (Y/N) muttered under her breath, Jiyoung somehow heard it and snorted quietly.

"As you all know, in a national emergency such as this one, even a small commotion can lead to heavy casualties. So, from now on, I will take charge of this situation." The man stepped up. (Y/N) smiled a bit. He was really selfless.

"What? Who the hell are you?"

"A national emergency? What are you talking about?!"

The people on the train weren't very open to the idea of control. The man pulled a government official card out of his wallet. "I'm an army lieutenant currently serving in unit 6502."

Some people's faces instantly became relieved. "A soldier, he's a soldier."

However, it was too early to be relieved.

"I just received a message from my unit."

People gathered in front of the soldier's cellphone, including Jiyoung.

-This is a level one national emergency alert. Please return to your unit ASAP. This is not a drill.

Many people gulped as they read the message.

"Oh my god."

"A n-national emergency?!"

"Soldier-nim! What is happening?"
