"Dad dinner!" I called my dad. He got up from the couch and walked over to the kitchen. I had made him steak and baked potatoes. "Mmm that smells good Bells!" He said. " Thanks. It looks pretty good too if I do say so myself" I put the finishing touches on the steak and set it on the table for him to eat. "Gee Bells how come you never eat?" Uh oh.. Gotta think of something fast! "Umm I'm not that hungry right now. I ate a sandwich while you were at work." Since my lying skills were terrible, he didn't look convinced, but he let it go and began eating. Phew that was a close one! After he ate, I did the dishes and went to take a shower. Vampires don't really need to take showers but I like the feeling of warm water flowing down my body. It's one of my favourite feelings. After I showered I went downstairs to say good night to Charlie. " dad I'm going to bed now." "Now? It's only 10:00pm" "I have to get up early for school tomorrow remember?" " Oh ya I forgot. Ok Bells good night" " Night dad". Vampires don't sleep, so I laid in my bed wondering if there were other vampires like me that only feed on the blood of animals. I decided it would be a good idea to hunt now since Charlie is asleep. I looked at the clock. 2:00am. I've got time. I jumped through my window and took off running into the forest. I managed to find 2 elks and a mountain lion. I went back to the house and quickly changed before going downstairs to make Charlie breakfast. It was only 6:45am so he isn't up yet. I made him pancakes, orange juice and a salad. After he was finished his breakfast it was 7:30. I told Charlie goodbye and left the house driving my silver Audi. The school parking lot didn't have a lot of cars. Most of the cars were rusty and old. When I pulled up the parking lot I felt all eyes were on me. I ignored them and looked at the cars. The most decent car was a silver Volvo but no one was near it so I left to go to the school office. As I walked, I could hear whispers and murmurs about me. A guy who's name was Mike Newton called me sexy. I smirked and walked away. At the office I see a lady in her mid 30's typing on the computer. " excuse me?" "Yes? How can I help you?" " I'm Isabella Swan, and I'm new here." " Oh yes. Ms.Swan. Here is your class schedule. My name is Ms.Folksworth. If you have any questions, please feel free to come to me." I said thank you and left to get to my first class. AP Biology. It was in building W which was right next to my second period class Visual Arts. I looked at the time. It was 7:55am. Class starts at 8:00am. I quickly went to building where my first class was.
