I knew they were vampires from the beginning. Extraordinary beautiful, topaz eyes, pale skin, and smelled like nature. I didn't know how to tell them that I was also one of them, so I just thought it would be simple if I told them that I knew what they were. So, very slowly, I turned my head and whispered " I know what you are." He had his mouth hanging open for 5 seconds before he closed it. "I want you to sit with my family and I during lunch so we can discuss this. Now isn't the time or the place" he whispered so low that only my ears could hear. I nod slightly before turning my attention back to the teacher counting the minutes we had left before the period was over. The bell finally rang and I was off to my second class. Visual arts. One of my favourite classes. I went inside the classroom and went straight to the teacher's desk. " ah Isabella Swan" "Just Bella" I corrected again. "We'll then Bella why don't you introduce yourself to the class?" I nod and turn my body to the class. "Hi I'm Bella and I moved here from Phoenix." I smile at them. I suddenly had a new gift. I could feel everyone's emotions around me. They were mostly in awe. I look around the classroom till I spot a guy with long blond hair. He was a vampire too. That's where my new gift came from. He can alter someone's emotions. I learned that his name is Jasper Cullen by reading his thoughts. He was thinking of a pixie liked girl names Alice. She could see the future, which is where I got my other gift..these Cullen's are really gifted... Now I'm dreading lunch time. What if they find out the truth about me? We'll, I guess I have to tell them now. Should I trust them? I use my powers to make my heart beat quicken and then blush. I don't know how I got these powers but James said that it had something to do with me being human once. I look at the time. It was almost time to switch classes again. 15 minutes tops. In this class, the teacher talked about shading techniques and smudge sketching. I drew a tiger and the everyone was really impressed. It wasn't even my best art work. Oh well. We gotta fit in some how right? So I said that it took me forever to draw even though it only took 30 minutes. Before we knew it the bell rang. I quickly gathered my stuff ad went to my third class. It was gym. The last class before lunch time. I change into my gym uniform and go to meet the teacher. His name was Mr.Marshall and he is really nice. I spot a blond girl named Rosalie and a really really buff guy named Emmet. They seem to be dating. I go over to them to make teams for volley ball. "Hi I'm Bella Swan. May I be in your team for volley ball?" "Hi Bella I'm Rosalie and my boyfriend Emmet. Of course you can be on our team!" "Thanks!" I beamed. Suddenly, this made me curious of what Edward Cullen was doing at this moment. Without thinking, I ask "do you know a guy named Edward Cullen?" They look at me confused. "Yes he's our adoptive brother. What's wrong? Did he do anything to you?" "No I had biology with him this morning so I was just wondering." " oh ok then. Come on let's play volley ball! It's your serve" Volley ball went on for the whole gym period and after gym I changed and said to Rosalie "um Edward invited me to sit with you guys during lunch time. He said we had to talk about something together." "Oh then we will walk together to eat. And what does he want to talk about?" "Um we'll, don't be scared (like that's possible) but I know what you guys are." She stared at me in shock. " umm maybe we should wait for the others at the lunchroom to talk about this." I sigh and went to see Emmet. "Hi Emmet." "Oh hey Bella. Something wrong?" "Emmet you don't have to hide it anymore. I know what you are and I also know you heard everything. But we should talk to everyone together first." "He just nodded and we waited for Rosalie in science before walking towards the lunchroom. Once we got there, I could see that everyone was there. I look until I spot him. He stared at me. When I went over to him and said hi. "Hello Bella. Do you like your first day so far?" I nod. "We'll let's get this started. Do you want some food?l he asked. I shook my head no and say down with everyone else. "So for those who don't know I know what you guys are. Vampires." I assumed the short girl with black hair was Alice. She stared at me in shock along with Jasper. At once they all say " but how?" This is it. No turning back. I slowly used my power to turn off my beating heart and the blood flowing through my veins. They gasped. "Your one of us?!?" Edward asks surprised. I nod my head. "How come I've never seen it in my visions??" Alice asks. " well that's part of my gift. I take a vampires gift that is within 100 feet of me and I make a copy of it to use as my own. I can also hide my scent, make my heart beat and run blood through my veins." All of them stare at me as if they couldn't speak. "That's awesome!" Emmet beamed. I smile at them Edward on the other hand didn't say anything. He just stared at me. His eyes were amber. Ones that you could get lost in. We say there staring at each other for at least 4 minutes. He finally snaps out of it and says "can you come to our place today after school?" I smile and nod. Jasper feels my nervousness and says "don't worry Bella. He just wants you to meet our "parents" and let them explain the rules to you. We won't bite" he added with a wink. Edward growled at him softly. He was protective which I liked for some reason. I have started developing feels for him. Oh no... I couldn't help but wonder if he has done the same with me. As soon and the bell rang we went off into our fourth class. Time flew by and soon, I was meeting the Cullen's at my car and was following their scent back to their home. I step out and find a beautiful mansion! They must be rich! Here goes nothing...as I ring the doorbell.
