Saving Marshall (Book: 2): Nightmares that became a Reality.

Chapter Two: A fiery awakening.

The fire that Sweetie started was growing quickly and fast, the ground was set ablaze and the trees started to catch fire and begin to burn, pieces of the trees were breaking off and falling to the ground just burning nothing to ashes, big pieces of the trees were breaking and it was starting to become dangerous, the wild life were running for their lives away from the burning fire, trying to run from safely, some animals were lucky...some. Weren't so lucky.

Meanwhile back at the Paw Patrol tower Marshall and the others just finished breakfast, suddenly Marshall's nose started to twitch as his head pointed up in the air slightly, his dark side was back inside his body, Dark went back in his body after finishing his breakfast, Marshall's nose kept twitching as he followed the smell he was smelling.

The others followed with Marshall even his parents followed, Marshall walked outside the smell only got stronger outside, "Marshall what is it?" Rocky asked, the other pups including Rocky didn't have a strong nose like Marshall did, Marshall didn't give a response at first then the smell of knowing what it was finally hit him.

"Fire" Marshall spoke out "it's a fire-" Marshall turned his head and froze in fear what seemed far away when it really wasn't was nothing but pitch black smoke it looked like something out of a horror movie and it was getting closer to Adventure Bay and it was spreading faster and faster by the seconds, the huge fire already burned half of the forest already, Marshall wasn't normally scared of fire's he's been putting them out his whole life it was what he was meant to do.

But something was off about this fire..it was like it was the devil's awakening. It looked like hell and that scared Marshall, Marshall snapped out of it and looked back at the other's including his parents.

"We need to go NOW. We don't have time for who goes and who doesn't. We need everyone right NOW, grab your firefighter stuff and we are heading that way. We need to stop this fire before it reaches here and gets even worse, understood?" All the pups nodded their heads in agreement to what Marshall said, even his parents.

"Good! Now let's go!" They all ran back into the Paw Patrol Tower and grabbed their firefighter stuff and having their firefighter outfits on, each outfit having a different color, then they all jumped into the vehicles and Marshall's parents hopped in Marshall's firetruck and Marshall had a grin on his face his eyes flashed black with red glowing pupils his pupils having a red glowing flame at first it was pretty cool honestly, soon they went back to normal and Marshall slammed his paw on the gas pedal causing the firetruck go at full speed towards the huge fire, aka the "devil's awakening" what Marshall would call it from now on.

It only took them five minutes to get there, Marshall slammed his paw on a button and a huge water cannon came out of his firetruck and it blasted water out towards the fire, the fire made a hissing sound once the water hit the burning flames as if the fire was crying out in pain, Marshall hopped out of his firetruck and so did the others including his parents they all had oxygen masks on and he turned to face the others.

"Alright here's the plan I'm going to be quick about this since we are running out of time, Chase and Rocky you guys put out the fires, Zuma and Rubble you guys help with the wild life, take them somewhere safe, Skye Blaze and misty you guys go to the nearby river we passed by and fill it up with water so Chase and Rocky don't run out of water while putting out the fires, and for me I'll go deeper into the burning fire and do what I can I'll get any wild life that's trapped and put out the fires, good luck everyone and stay safe"

"We will and same goes for you Marshall" Chase responded back with a smile and Marshall smiled back with a nod "I will"

All of the pups would spit up and do what Marshall ordered them to do, meanwhile Marshall red glowing wings appeared and he took to flight flying though the burning forest at fast speed while being careful, he wanted to know what caused this fire to happen in the first place, it couldn't just started on it's own..a fire on it's own can't spread this quickly.

Somebody had to cause this, someone started this fire.

Marshall was zooming through the burning fire then he suddenly saw a hurt animal and stopped and landed, it was a hurt male elk trapped from a tree branch "hey there buddy it's okay i'm going to help you"

Marshall tried to comfort the male elk to make it feel better, Marshall started to move the tree branch off the male elk, the elk started to freak out clearly scared, "hey hey it okay-" Marshall was cut off when the male elk stabbed one of it's deer horn's into Marshall's side causing blood to gush out of Marshall's side.

Marshall groaned in pain as he looked down, seeing the horn still stabbed into his side, the male elk moved his head ripping the horn out of Marshall's side which was really painful, Marshall cried out in pain and used one of his paws to cover his bloody side as he used the rest of his body to push the tree branch off the male elk getting it free and watching it run off as Marshall was breathing heavily, Marshall started to walk back to where the others were at he was in pain but he could make it back.

Suddenly something was stabbed into Marshall's neck. It was like a needle was stabbed into his neck, that's because it was, he was stabbed with a dart and somebody shot one at him.

Marshall's vision started to blur and everything was spinning for him soon he collapsed to the ground and passed out a female chuckle was heard echoing before everything went black for Marshall.

"Ugh.." Marshall muttered groaning as he opened his eyes his vision was blurred at first before it slowly cleared up, Marshall sat up hitting his head on something he hissed in pain, then he realized he in a cage, and the room was dark and creepy chains hanging from the ceilings and what looks to be other cages like what Marshall was in, "Hello?" Marshall called out his voice only echoed in the room or wherever he was at, seemed to be a big area.

"Oh you're finally awake I thought you would never wake up" a female voice spoke back.

Marshall froze, his body tensed up.

"Sweetie..?"

"What did you think about that fiery awakening Marshall? I caused that fire just for this reason" the white pup with glowing Pink eyes walked up to the cage and smirked at Marshall, "No one knows you're here not even the others pups"

Marshall growled a little bit.

"I got plans for you Marshall you shall see"

"What do you want from ME?" Marshall snapped at Sweetie, clearly pissed off.

Sweetie chuckled "I've seen what you're capable of with that dark side of yours THAT POWER.."

Marshall let out a laugh "you're not getting that power sweetie not in a million years"

"Try me Marshall" Sweetie pressed a button on a controller and something stabbed into Marshall's neck injecting something into him making him super weak.

Marshall collapsed to the ground while Sweetie walked off laughing, everything blurred for Marshall.

Meanwhile back with the other pups they finished putting out the fire and saving the wild animals Misty and Blaze noticed something, Marshall wasn't back yet.

"..wait, where's Marshall? He should been back by now"

"C'mon let's go find him!" Chase yelled out running into the forest and all the others followed, soon Chase came to a stop and so did the others.

There was a dart on the ground, the needle was all bloody, Chase sniffed the bloody needle and gasped in fear.

"Something happened to Marshall, his scent is on that bloody needle. We need to head back to the paw patrol tower and figure this out more cmon!"

All the pups ran back to their vehicles and headed back to the Paw Patrol tower.

"Oh..you're friends will be in for a treat my little friend" Sweetie muttered "Just you wait and see"
