Later that day.

Toma: thanks for the game.

Zero: it's fine, hopefully our paths will cross again some day but for now, you have to take care of urara.

Cyp walks up.

Cyp: so this is the end of our adventure in team blackout?

Zero: nah I am going to sticking around but don't you have a flight to catch?

Cyp: I forgot all about that.

Ace: yeah!

As cyp is walking off in the distance, ace started to walk back to wonderhill.

Danji: where's cyp and Toma?

Ace: they have things to do. Toma is taking care of urara and cyp is going to the states to become a pro fighter. While those 2 are doing that, I am not going anywhere, so I can help out with the team.

Everyone was in shock because of one reason.......... Danji is quitting vanguard.

Ace: why danji?

Danji: I feel like I have done everything I need to do with vanguard.

Megumi: that's not true danji, everyone here still needs you.

Ace gets pissed after what danji said

Ace: you know what? I challenge you to a cardfight danji, since we never had our rematch.

Danji: fine, this will be my last cardfight as part of team blackout.

Ace/Danji: Stand up / the / Vanguard!

Time skip to the closing moments of the fight

Danji: Diabolos "Violence" Bruce attack the Vanguard!

Ace: no.... Guard!

Danji: drive check. First check no trigger. Second check critical trigger all effects to Bruce.

Ace: damage check. First check no trigger. Second check no....... Trigger.

Danji: hmm. I thought you were a lot stronger than that, I guess I was wrong.

Danji walks away from team blackout and wonderhill.

Ace looks down at the cards in his hand and saw that he didn't have a single usable card amongst them to guard with. Megumi saw that Zero was upset.

Megumi: you did well against danji.

Ace: but I wasn't strong enough to beat him, you heard what he said to me.

Megumi was shocked at what you said.

Megumi: what do mean by that.

Ace: megumi, I just need some time alone.

Ace walks off into the night thinking about what danji said to him.

The next day....

Ace is pacing back and forth in his thinking about what he wants to do next even though he wants to beat danji the next time they cardfight.

Ace: That Danji, is all high and mighty being the strongest cardfighter in team blackout, I want to become stronger than him and surpass myself as well as Him.

Ace hears a knock at the door.

Ace: come in.

Yuyu opens the door.

Yuyu: are you ok, big bro?

Ace: no, I'm not ok. Danji beat me and I am upset.

Yuyu: I get what you mean, not being strong enough to beat someone but I think it doesn't matter.

Ace: what do you mean yuyu?

Yuyu: look at it this way if you ever get a chance to beat danji again is probably going to be be in the near future.

Ace: I see what you are saying yuyu.

Ace sees the wisdom in what yuyu said.

Ace: I'm going to make a phone call.

Yuyu: to who?

Ace: that's for me to know and for you to find out later down the line.

Yuyu gets the point that ace wants to make a phone call on his own and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Yuyu leaves the room and closes the door behind him.

Ace: it's been a while since I talked to him but I need a distraction from team blackout.

Ace starts dialing the number of a certain person who is the CEO of a company.

?????: ah ace it's good to hear from you.

Ace: ????? It has been a while since the last time we talked. Is the offer still on the table?

?????: of course it is, I was waiting for the day you would accept my offer, ace. I would like to personally welcome you to Anchor Bolts, Ace.
