Prologue

Episode 1-

 Prologue 

Story:

 Nightstar dug her claws into the hard ground of the cliff. "You won't get away with this," She growled, shaking. Redeye laughed, "I already have!" He smiled his bloodthirsty smile. Nightstar gasped in terror as her back paw slipped, the next thing she knew, she was hanging of the cliff with only her paws digging into the ground. Her back leg was slipping of of the rock she had rested her paw on. "Finally," Redeye continued, "I have got what I deserve." He walked closer to Nightstar, and she dug her claws deeper into the ground. "I was going to be the leader in the first place, and you? You had to take that chance from me." He growled slowly. The he bent over to look into Nightstar's eyes, which showed she was scared and helpless. "Now I will just have to take that chance from you," He finished, getting ready to swing his paw, with his claws sheathed, at Nightstar. Then he stopped when he turned around in shock. "Huh?" He looked confused as he saw Mistystripe's silky fur appear out of the bushes. "What's going on here?" She gasped. Redeye opened his jaws to lie, but before he could speak, Nightstar blurted out- "Redeye is trying to murder me." Mistystar stared at Redeye. "Redeye, is this true?" She asked, trying not to believe her mother's terrifying words. Redeye has always been the most loyal cat in the Clan, hasn't he? She thought in terror. Her eyes clouded with disbelief. "I have always been loyal to my clan!" Redeye growled at Nightstar. "Liar!" Nightstar snapped. She looked at Mistystar. Redeye gave a low growl to Nightstar. "If anyone finds out, you're dead." He snapped at Mistystar. "I- I won't tell, don't worry." Mistystar replied in terror. "Redeye, can you get me out now?" Nightstar yowled so Redeye could hear her, after her foot slipped. 

Then they heard screeching and hissing from behind the bushes. "They're in battle," Nightstar said, softly. "Mistystar, you go make sure they are okay. Redeye, get me out." She said. Mistystar nodded and began to walk out. Then Redeye stopped her. "I'll keep my eye on you." He growled. She shivered. "O-Okay," She replied, after hesitating. Then she raced over to where the cats where fighting, and Redeye smiled. Then he stalked over there to lift her up, and then dropped her, pretending it was a mistake. Nightstar screeched as she fell. The wind blew her fur and she closed her eyes in terror. She felt her heart beat faster as she drifted to the ground. Then, before she knew it, she hit the hard ground. She had passed out.Later on, when Mistystar walked carefully down the cliff, she noticed Nightstar, her mother, on the hard ground. Blood was spilled all over the ground, and Mistystar ran over. She bent her head over her passed out mother, and then she heard Nightstar say: "Mistystar, you're the new leader-" and her soul dissapeared as she drifted off to Starclan. Redeye grunted. "Why you the new leader?" He rolled his eyes. Mistystar was in too much pain and shock to notice. "She rests in Starclan, now..." She said in terror.

 In Starclan, a she-cat with a white pelt was bristling in the wind. She looked into the pool, and then She saw visions of a prophecy. Then another cat walked up. "What is wrong, Whitestep?" She looked into the pool with her, after the vision dissapeared. Her reflection showed again. "There's a prophecy..." The white cat replied, in shock. "Huh. Tell me about it!" The other cat sat down beside her. "There's this cat that is going to be born at moonhigh, she can save the clan." Whitestep explained. The brown she-cat laughed. "A prophecy, about a kit! Haha! Tell me something real!" The brown she-cat laughed to Whitestep. "I'm not playing around, Tallcloud." She snapped back. "Don't believe me? Here, see for yourself-" Whitestep continued, watching the vision appear again. After, Tallcloud froze in shock. "Wow, you weren't joking..." She stared at the pool. Then Whitestep laughed. "I told you!" She said.
