Ashlyn was feeling low.
She was at one of her worst moments in a while.
Her head hurt.
It was pounding and pounding.
The phantom had almost got to her, it was too close.
She sat in the school bus, waiting to go home, away from the phantoms.
Her friends were worried, but didn't push her to talk.
All she could do was stare at the wall of the bus.
Completely dissociated from everything.
It took a moment but they finally got back home.
Her head hurt even more now.
She rubbed her temples, groaning.

None of us deserve this.
"Curse my hearing."

She reached over and picked up her phone.
