Chapter Nine: The little details

Alec was annoyed with Yul, they had finished the space themed challenge in a matter of minutes, and Riya won their victory. It was clear how devoted she was to winning, however, with the awkwardness between Grett and Yul it was so thick that they could slice through it with a knife.

He noticed how Grett was slightly returning back to winning over Grett even with the nasty things he had said about her. His unnecessary commentary towards Grett about the tube and how she wanted to go in to help. Fortunately, Yul had agreed to make Alec leader...something he was surprised about.

But what made this situation worse was the factor of overhearing his conversation with Emily! Apparently, Yul was supposed to bring Grett to a special spot to have a picnic and cuddle her, while Emily brought the paparazzi to make positive vibes for Yul's reputation. However, he didn't want to do that, he didn't want to even touch her.

Never would Alec have said something about his wife in that manner. He would've most likely gotten a slap in the face if he dared to say that. Yul was clearly a hazard towards the team. His relationship with Grett dissolving, and his constant bickering with Riya was getting out of hand.

Alec kind of wished their team had lost, just so he could vote Yul to go to the loser motel. But on the other hand, everyone there didn't deserve to deal with Yul's crap. So, another few days or so wouldn't hurt.

Shuffling from the bushes could be heard, Alec raised an eyebrow. Was it Ellie? It was too early, did she manage to survive the elimination last night? Did Aiyden go to the loser motel? Those questions raced through his mind before he saw....Gabby?

"Uh, can I help you?" Alec raised an eyebrow at the brunette.

Gabby crossed her arms, a serious expression on her face.

"Let's cut to the chase. I want to join your alliance."

Alec seemed more confused but he didn't seem bothered by this. He stared at her.

"Was Ellie eliminated last night?" He asked.

Gabby nodded, a serious look still on her face. It seemed like she was a totally different person. It kind of put Alec off.

Alec: Gabby just came out of nowhere and asked to join our alliance like it was some clubhouse. But she wasn't her...usual self. But since Ellie's out of the game, having Gabby replace her means we still have our alliance going on.

"What's with her?" Riya walked out pushing her hair to the side.

"She's joining our alliance, Ellie got voted off last night." Alec explained.

Riya looked at Gabby up and down, then shrugged.

"Whatever, we still have our alliance number still good, welcome I guess."

"Thanks, but we need a better plan than what we have going on." Gabby huffed.

Alec turned to Riya who sat down with him confused about the idea of a plan.

"Well, you seem to know a lot about the cyan team, do you have any information we could use?" Alec asked, looking at Gabby.

Gabby rubbed her hands together and smirked.

"Why of course I do."

Riya: I like Gabby, she seems to know what we can use against her team. Ellie kept to herself with these pieces of information instead of telling us. Now, we can pick cyan down one by one.
