A darkening Soul

For I am a lost soul in a dark, cruel world. Full of monsters who throw and spit things at you that will never leave the weak mind. For you feel lost in a field of darkness, buried down too deep to where you don't remember the bright light, to not remember who your heart beats for. To swim with a million other people, no talking, no smiling, no happiness. After what seemed like decades, a small faded light flew towards me, not the person next to me, not to the person behind me, or not even the person in front of me. Only me.
The light wrapped around me, spreading around me. Pumping my heart to life. It stayed in the cove of me, curled to me and making me think it would stay. Yet, I was wrong again. I wasn't the only darkness it gave light too, I wasn't the only one it slept it's heart to, yet I was the least amount of sunlight, I was given a fraction of it.
Last place I was, last call, the one that you absolutely only need when you desperately want it.
Being forgotten was my loom, was my hung of a sign. And I soon sunk back to the black abyss and was swallowed whole to darkness.
