A few days after the knight ceremony of rimuru the emilia camp received an invitation from the capital of lugunica which simply stated that it's compulsory for all candidates to be present thus they decided to leave in a few days but rimuru interfered and asked them to go 2 days earlier than originally planned because he had some business in capital related to the new recruitment to the camp so they set off to the capital 2 days earlier the journey was mostly boring as nothing interesting really happened after they arrived in the capital they booked a inn the people who came here were rimuru, emilia,rem and roswaal , roswaal was concerned about the new recruitment but rimuru reassured him by telling him that they're essential for our goals , so roswaal didn't object to it, rimuru now has a lot of info on the other candidates except for Priscilla barielle he knew most of the things about her trough other people's memories but he considered her as wild card someone who couldn't be predicted, but that aside it wouldn't matter anyway as he knew only few people can fight him on equal footing as he was currently in top 10 according to ciel as he was thinking about it he stumbled into a person who was drinking in the afternoon rimuru looked at him and thought he looked familiar he then remembered this was heinkel astrea Reinhard's father, rimuru knew him from other's memories atleast about his wife's situation and why he became an alcoholic but he was curious about him so he decided to get more info on him , he went to the counter of the bar and sat besides him rimuru then order's two beers one for himself and one for heinkel and passes the beer to him heinkel took the beer and thanked him so they started chatting about things and then rimuru introduces himself and shakes hand's with heinkel , getting all the info about reinhard from his father's memories rimuru also came to know that heinkel is actually a very pitiful man he's just someone who can't accept the reality and is trying to escape it through alcohol he wasn't strong willed like wilheim to cope with the pain or strong like reinhard and rimuru to feel loneliness that comes from being too strong he was a normal human someone who had emotions and acted upon it someone who was struggling with life, rimuru also came to know about the disease his wife was suffering from called (sleeping Beauty) which puts the person in state of limbo where they're in a coma like state but still alive



While healing magic won't work since it's not exactly an illness of the body but it's related to the soul
Rimuru could heal her but he doesn't see any point in doing so after chatting a bit he left the bar and went to the alley ways and entered the {shadow realm} rimuru suddenly felt something ominous as if someone or something was present in his very soul first he taught it was a effect human body might suffer from traveling through realms since his connection to outside world is cut off when he enters this place, but when he taught about it some more he understood it was something different, he asked ciel what's happening, his soul felt stronger yet wierd at the same point and memories of a random boy flowed in his mind he didn't understand what was happening to which ciel replied]
