It is recovery month of February finally the sun slightly peeked showing some mercy from December and January's chilly breeze making people to switch off from those heavy woolen jackets and gloves to light woolen jackets at least for afternoon and enjoy the warmth but, the movement in Luxurious Chic is still in shambles; everyone in the office are restless.
"Where are the ruffles in the sleeves", Why is the fabric dyed in Baby blue? It needs to be in Turkish blue", "The slit is too high; change the skirt", "The pattern is too loud and the flowers need to be attached at the hem of the dress, not at the waistline" ,"None of the outfits are finalised; Re-do the work and bring it back." A lady wearing a pink sweater and blazer along with black trousers, wrapping pink coloured hijab around her head, is validating all the designs of her team. She gets agitated, as none of the final outfits are up to the mark and orders everyone to make modifications, pointing out all the details in each outfit.

The lady is none other than Neha Ali, one of the leading fashion designers at Luxurious Chic, and this year finally she got the opportunity to showcase her talent on a few outfits of the fashion house in one of the upcoming notable events in America—The New York Fashion Week.
"It's fine, girl; you still have two days for the final submission," said Jennifer, her boss's assistant, who saw the potential of Neha in Mumbai and advised her to come to New York. She has been her bone and strength since 4 years, calming down Neha after her outburst.
"How Jenny, this is my do-or-die situation. You know right, I have been waiting for this for two years. I lost the last time in the summer collection final round due to a single colour change, and Now, I don't even have one finalised outfit." Neha was bursting out of her emotions.
New York Fashion Week, which is one of the biggest four fashionable events in the entire world, is celebrated bi-annually, showcasing winter and summer collections during February and September, respectively.
Luxurious Chic is said to be one of the show-stopping fashion brands, having multiple fashion designers in the house. It conducts a competition in the house, and the jury finalises the outfit a day before the D-day for the display, making it an enthusiastically waiting moment for the public.
Neha has been constantly applying for the contest for two years, and last year during the summer event, she was just rejected by stating that the colour of one of the outfits was just too warm and did not reflect the bright summer.
That day Neha was broken and promised herself that in the winter collection her designs will be displayed in the New York fashion show

Next Day
Neha quickly entered her office thinking about her outfits, and due to it, she even missed her daily dose of coffee and breakfast. Seeing her dishevelled state, Jennifer entered her cabin and said, "Darling, How many times do I have to tell you to not miss your breakfast? I am sure you haven't slept last night, right? Come on, have this sandwich and coffee, and resume your work." Jennifer forwarded a packet of breakfast; she was a mother figure to Neha in this place of strangers having no option.
