The air in the sewer was now thick with tension as a day passed after Desti's arrival. She woke up to find Jackson standing over her, bat in hand.

Jackson: (Sigh) Alright...let's try.

Desti seems a bit stunned, but smiled...

The scene shifts to Desti standing before all the kids, Jackson standing just behind her. Desti points her sword up, giving a speech about stopping the reapers with everyone more than ecstatic to join.

Peter immediately got to work, grabbing a bunch of garbage and getting ready to see what he could do with it. To his surprise, Desti stood nearby and started helping him with his work.

The first one to give a swing at training was Becca, who got some new weapons from Peter. Springs and pads were attached to her shoes as she wore boxing gloves filled with lead. Desti gestured over to a sandbag hung up with a reaper spray painted onto it.

After taking a moment to adjust to the bouncing, Becca jumped in and punched at the bag. She pulled off a combo, launching herself off a nearby wall to deliver an extra hard punch. Desti laughed with victory as Becca jumped for joy...only to fall into the water below. Desti looks shocked as Peter runs past with a water ring on a string.

Desti and Jackson then took to training, engaging in a fencing duel of sword against bat, going blow for blow. Finally, Jackson launched a punch that knocked Desti on her behind. Dest smiles at him, but Jackson simply turned around and walked away, saying nothing.

Next up was Jordan, who had 2 pipes chained together to make a pair of Nunchucks. Landing a series of solid blows, Desti gave them a thumbs up, only to get distracted and accidentally bonk themselves in the head. Peter was the first to run over with a med kit.

During their next fight, Jackson got knocked down, punching the ground in anger. Desti offered him a hand up, surprising him, but he swatted her hand aside and got up by himself.

Next up was Peter himself, who had attached a sharp blade to his grapple cable, narrowing at the sandbag. He latched on, pulled himself forward, then sliced when he was close enough. Sand poured from the open hole, earning a thumbs up from Desti.

In a third sparring match, Jackson once again got knocked down but Desti still offered him a hand up. She looked him in the eye before Jackson smiled, taking her hand to get back up.

Finally, Laura went next as Peter handed her a makeshift cannon, where she could load her paint bombs. Loading one in, she aimed at the now patched up sandbag and took the shot. Paint splattered everywhere across it, including herself and Desti. Regardless, the pair high fived and saw this as a success.

Then in their last match after several weeks of training, Desti was defeated and fell on her back. She looked up and surprisingly, it was Jackson holding a hand out for her this time. He gave Desti a smug smile...before she took his hand.
