When I attempted to open my eyes and absorb in the familiar surroundings, my head felt as heavy as a rock...

"Finally, she is awake!" After giving me a shout, Cat assists me in sitting and embracing me.

"It took you an absurd twelve hours to wake up."

"But why did it take me this long?" Twelve hours of post-traumatic episode later, I never woke up.

"What time is it now?" She did not respond even after I turned to look around!

This was something I somehow anticipated!

"This time, what did I do? I actually just finished saving that lunatic, and I attempted to drive again but was unsuccessful."

"Yes, that is the issue! For what reason have you even attempted? Despite knowing how to drive, you are well aware that you are unable to do so." Cat is correct, but there is nothing I can do about it.

"Where is Kieran right now?"

"At work, curently. Why are you asking?"

"Please give him a call immediately; I need to tell him something very important."

"He will return in an hour or two, so wait until you have something and get well-rested."

"Give him a call immediately!"

"I can not bother him because I know what he is doing right now, so no, I can't."

"Alright, good."

I grabbed my phone and called Kieran; he picked up after two rings!

"Kieran, get home in 30 minutes. I must tell you something very important, and if you refuse to give me any pathetic justification, you will be lost forever."

"He has a foreign client that he is busy with."

"Who is this?"

"Davian." Oh, my, dear, holy, God!

After a few moments of gasping for air, I managed to inhale deeply and mustered the bravery to carry on.

"How soon is he going to return?"

"He can not come today, but you can stop by and talk to him; he has a lot on his plate."

"Please send the address to me."

"You are coming with whom?"

"Catherine, why?"

"She is aware of the address."

"All right, thanks!" Catherine was looking at me when I hung up the phone!

"Who answered the phone?"

"Davian, why are you asking?"

"And he most likely stated, 'Kieran is busy, so come on over and talk,' correct?"

"Yes, and you are currently taking me there."

"Clearly, at this point, I have no other options."

I am not sure why, but his voice is the scariest during calls, and if it had not been Kieran's phone, I would have urinated in my pants.
