Neeraj Mehra stared at the hospital board, Shaurya Medi Centre. He frowned and walked inside. The hospital was bustling. He went over to the reception to inquire about the data.
"How can I help you sir?" The receptionist asked. He looked at her carefully before he showed his ID. She grew alert.
"Don't bother." She placed the phone away and turned her full attention to him.
"For how long do you keep the statistics stored?" He asked. The nurse frowned at him, "Seven years the most." She spoke. Relief. At least he had something to take a lead from.
"I need to go through them." She was contemplating. "I'm sorry sir. I need to speak with my supervisor before that and we have to back up the data which is not possible at the moment. You might have to wait a day or two." She spoke her voice going quiet.
Neeraj nodded. He passed her card to her. "Make sure nobody gets a whiff of this other than your supervisor. And the data remains intact, they shouldn't be tampered with in any way possible." He spoke with urgency, his eyes warning her. She nodded and he made his way out, but not before turning to look around the atmosphere. It was just like any other hospital and he knew even if they retrieved the data the most he could get is when he had been admitted here. He needs to look somewhere else for the investigation.
He flipped open his phone staring at the list of contacts he had acquired after looking through Shivaay's history. His family. His business delegates. His friends. He had garnered all their numbers and had them sent to the service providers to have their call records of that particular timespan.
He fiddled with the phone, he had already put up Priyanka's and Shivaay's phone on trace. Though he had not mentioned it, he knew Shivaay already suspected that.

Shivaay stared at the records in his hands. They aren't adding up. He wondered how he could have missed it. Someone has tampered with the office database. There was a knock on the door before Aditya opened the door to look inside. His eyes immediately went to the files in Shivaay's hands and his eyes went round.
Shivaay was busy in his own thoughts that he didn't notice the expression that crossed Aditya's face. But it didn't escape the watchful eyes of Khanna who was just standing right next to his chair and his eyes narrowed in suspicion.
Khanna frowned. He might not have been in the industry for a long period of time, but he hasn't forgotten the signs of the treachery. He could suspect the same aura coming from Aditya though he was wondering how he is going to address the issue to Shivaay. He looked already tensed and adding the suspicion might make him even more tense of his surroundings. But he could confront Priyanka. She can handle the rest.
