The night of the Gala dawned upon the skies. They all were in Shivaay's cabin. Neeraj and Aradhya as well.
"Where's Khanna?" Neeraj asked noticing the absence of the man who followed Shivaay like a shadow. He had noticed this quite a few times, that he was not there as much as he used to.
"He must be doing security rounds." Priyanka spoke with furrowed eyebrows, when she too noticed his absence.
Shivaay didn't pay attention to that as his mind was already preoccupied with what they were supposed to do. Earlier it had been decided that Priyanka was going to give the speech, but he knew that media will object that before she could even begin speaking.
"Everything's ready." Arjun spoke when he entered the cabin, he was surprised to find Aradhya and Neeraj pre occupied in mindless chatter while Priyanka was sitting there listless.

"It's time to go." Arjun informed interrupting his thoughts as he pointed towards the door.
It's time.

"I don't know why we are going to the party that is celebrating his success." Tej seethed. Om looked at him, annoyance clearly shown in his face.
"If we don't go, the media will term us bitter. For not going to celebrate the success of our brother and sister." Rudra answered for him. Besides the fact that he wanted to see his brother.
"Oh, so he is your brother again?" Tej asked with an arched eyebrow, doing little to conceal the malice in his words.
"Mr. Oberoi." Om interjected, his tone warning. He wasn't very keen on having this argument with him at this moment.
Tej scoffed, "This is unbelievable." He spoke before storming out of the living room, "He's just—" Om turned away from his mother, was she again going to give an excuse for his behaviour?
