Greyson hated doing this.
Today he was sent by his father to Earth for, what his father liked to call, "recruiting." He was to bring back a group of women and men to the Abyss, the place favored among monsters and demons, where humans had a high selling value. It didn't matter what they looked like, different humans were fit for different things. Some were sold off to demons who had a sweet tooth for human flesh, others were used for much worse things.
However, there was a particular niche for younger humans, particularly ones in high school. And that's how Greyson found himself in Rosewood High School, posed as a high school senior. It wasn't hard to blend in, considering he was only 19.
It was depressingly easy to enroll himself in the school, despite the fact that he had no birth certificate, or any proof that he had ever lived on Earth. Human minds were so easily to manipulate, and that's what made him sad. Sad that he could use his powers to convince the school principal that he did, in fact, have all his paperwork, and that he had enough credits to be in his last year of high school. He'd use those same powers to scope out potential candidates and take them with him.
