I finish my last touches on my hair and i put on a little make up just lipstick . I put my gown on over my cute black dress and open toe nude heel sandals.. I put on my cap. and adjust it. I walk out of my room and head to the auditorium where were gonna practice before we sit outside. I hear Donald's voice ' hey ..' I smile ' hey .. He says ' can i get a pic before everybody tackles you...' I laugh ' yeah '' I move over closer to him and smile we take a few pictures. He says ' you look stunning' I smile ' you look nice too..' He smiles and we talk and make it to the auditorium they have us line up and practice and then we all sit down for a while ...
Chance has his arm around my shoulder as he talks to some girl.. She says ' but honestly .. leah don't you agree' I say ' ..huh .. oh yeah' She says ' you okay' I smile ' yeah just thinking..' She says ' okay..' Honestly i wasn't .. i was looking at Donald .. why i don't know he's sitting down the row in front of us.. He was staring at me so i was staring at him he smirks and looks off. I look at Chance and he's talking ... on and on i have no clue what he's talking about....He kisses my forehead and i smile ..
We all chill and have to get back in line and head outside.. I sit down as the program starts i see my family sitting together.. I smile at them..Ms.Harris gets up and says ' before we hand out diplomas we have a music selection ' Somebody gets up and plays .. They start handing out diplomas and I'm walking across the stage i smile as the photographer takes a pic.
The program was beautiful .. I'm taking pics with my mom and sister at the moment. My sister says ' oo is that your boyfriend..' I turn and see Donald walking over.. We hug shortly and i tell my sister ' nope .. mom , sis , aunt this is my friend Donald..' My mom says ' he's a cutie' I laugh .. ' mom really..im gonna head to the bathroom ill be back..' My sis says ' yeah me too..' We walk together and she holds my hand i say ' thats the ex i was talking about..' She says ' .. why would you break up with him he is fine' I laugh ' yea ...creative differences'
We make it to the bathroom and there's nobody really in here.. I hear a girl ' mhhhmmm' I say ' umm... let me check this out first lolo' She says ' okay' I walk down the hall and see the girl chance was talking to earlier and some guy.. i can't make out his face.. I say ' we can just take some pics outside cause i don't know who that is.. ' She laughs ' okay..' We head back outside and i ask Donald ' have you seen Chance?' He says ' nah.. he was inside by Adams hall..' I say ' i just left from over their.. i didn't see him..' wait .... was that him and ??.. no it couldn't be ... Donald says ' whats wrong ...' I say ' oh nothing..' I tell my mom ' i wanted you guys to meet Chance .. i didn't see him though..' She says ' oh .. well leah Donald is gonna come out to eat with us..' I say ' okay cool.. '
I notice Chances mom and aunt i say "hold up guys..".I.walk over and his mom says 'leahh..!! ' I smile 'hey you guys..' She says 'Chance is just upstairs getting something he left.. ' I smile' im gonna surprise him ill be back..'I go up to his dorm and i knock.. on the door he answers..'hey.." I smile 'hey.. you disappeared..' He says' sorry..' I say 'come on lets get some pics..' He says 'sure...' I walk back and lean against him... we smile.. I say 'babe whats wrong ?' He says 'nothing i just don't feel good..' I say 'ohhh..my mom wants to meet you. ' he says 'okay... but wait i got you something..' He hands me a small box it has a cute ring in it i smile 'thanks babe' He says ' no problem..' I start to put it on and he says ' put it on your ring finger 'I smile 'okay .. here -hands him a box-' He opens it and its a watch..' He says ' thanks and puts it on We walk out of his dorm and head to the parking lot where my mom and everybody else is .. I smile 'this is Chance you guys..' They smile.. and talk a little.. He says 'my mom wants to do something small at a restaurant.. so ill call you later..' I say ..'okay' He kisses my cheek and walks off..
Me , Donald and lolo end up riding together in my car.. Donald says' whats wrong..?' I say 'chance..he said he wasn't feeling good but i think its something else' He says 'yeah i noticed how he was acting..' I say '....yeah' I get a text..i say 'hey Donald can you. Read that for me?' He picks up my phone and says ' its from chance he says he's sorry about how he was acting .. he loves you ... he's gonna make up for missing out today ' I say ' ohh.. ' We make it to a red light and i text Chance back and we drive to the restaurant turns out everybody here from school mostly .
We all chill and enjoy dinner.. and head back to the dorms my mom says ' well we're flying out tomorrow afternoon you can send some of your stuff with us I smile ' okay .. well can you guys come by in the morning?' My mom says ' what about 10?' I say ' okay perfect .. well i guess me and Donald are gonna head back to campus..' I hug everybody and Donald hugs my mom and sis and we head out... He laughs ' you know were not going straight to campus right?' I laugh ' where we going then?'He laughs ' we're stopping by the liquor store and then to campus' I laugh ' i don't drink..' He chuckles ' stop playing you know you used to throw back that tequila ' I laugh and he puts his hand on my thigh.. He says ' I'm sorry ..habit' I say ' its ... okay' He says ' but we can head to campus i don't wanna get you in trouble with your boyfriend..' I say ' okay..'
I drive back to campus and we get out .. He says ' you wanna talk ?' I say ' what do you mean?' He says ' talk ... just like sit down here and talk..' I say ' ohh.. sure yeah..' He says ' okay how about we go change and meet back down here in a hour..' I say ' yeah sure..' ' We go our separate ways and i change out of my dress and put on a grey ribbed crop tank ,dark blue jeans and my grey yeezys.. I put my hair in a half up half down ponytail and i grab my phone. I keep my ring on and head down to the lunch area.. we sit down and talk and laugh and talk some more..
-That night-
I walk back up to my room.. and go in i sit on the bed and hear a knock on the door..I go to the door and see Chance he says ' hey..' I say ' hey .. i can tell he's still out of it..' I say ' come here..' We sit on the bed .. he lays down i sit in his lap ' whats wrong?' He says ' .. leah .. theirs so much wrong .. i found out my uncle is dieing he's always been their for me ..money problems..i just don't feel like its worth it i just want my music to take off so i can repay my mom all the money she's gave me...'I look at him ' why didn't you say anything' He says ' i didnt wanna mess up your graduation .. ' I say ' baby .. you didn't have to get me this ring either..' He say ' look .. i love you and seeing you happy gives me hope when I'm down okay..i wanted to give you the ring .. because .. im.. in love with you ' I smile ' I'm in love with you too..and look i know you won't ask me for anything but if you need some money or anything I'm here i have some money my uncle left me .. and i wanna help you if you need it..' He says ' thanks ..' I get of out of his lap and lay besides him he I lay my head on his chest and he says ..' your more than perfect you know that' I laugh ' thanks..' Chance spends the night in my room ...
We pack and i give my parents some of my stuff and i just get a suitcase and carryon .. Me and Chance decided to drive home its like a road trip.. All of our stuff is packed in his jeep my mom got my car sent home today ..Me and Chance are eating lunch ...
I say 'are you sure you wanna drive home its like a day and some hours... He laughs 'yeah... your gonna enjoy it trust me..' I smile 'okay ...' He says ' we're gonna make a stop if you get tired..' I laugh 'if i get tired ..' He says' yeah ..' I say 'so you wanna drive until Nebraska? 'He says 'yeah .. sounds cool.. ' I smile and we eat and head out.
He fills up the gas tank and we get some snacks... he drives and we chill and just talk..
