Jake: " yes I did crack the case so Santiago will you do the honours"
Amy walks up the board and starts to rub out the felony arrests under Jakes name while saying "I HATE this" while everyone else is laughing.
Sarge: "JP update on the Morganthau murder"
Jake : "yep. Good news for all you murder fans this morning someone decided to shoot and kill Henry Morganthau however more importantly the chat I had with the cleaning lady I used my amazing detective skills to find she had something super gross on her chin"

So as this briefing was happening the elevator door *pinged* open revealing a mid 20 year old woman with h/c hair and the most vibrant e/c eyes anyone could ever imagine.

Rosas pov

"Maybe it was oldie gunk"
I was getting boarded of all these losers just sat here talking and quite frankly I wasn't listening to these piles of crap talking until I heard that we were getting a new detective joining and that they would be sitting across from me. Now I have never had anyone sit across from me for 2 years now as the last one who did ended up leaving the same day as I threw my mouse at them so of course I was mad at this news.
Rosa: "come on sarge you can't put them across from me I don't want to (shivers) socialise"
Sarge: "well Diaz you have to as we can't sit them across from Charles because of the cooking incident so deal with it and I'm sure you'll get along with them just fine"
Rosa: 'sighs and rolls her eyes'
Jake: "wait tell us what their like"
Sarge: "I'm sure she'll want to introduce herself, oh and don't forget we have our new captain today so I want you all to make a good impression  and yes Jake that means you"
As we all stand up to leave ,the door at the front opens and from what I see from the back of her she seems like the new detective.
Newbie: "hi Sargent Jeffords  just wondering where you wanted me to go"
Sarge: "well detective bright you can introduce yourself to the squad"
Wait bright I swear I've heard that name and she had h/c but no it can't be her she's undercover however I look over at Jake and see he has the same expression as I do but can it really be the girl that I've had a crush on in the academy and never got over.
Newbie: " hi everyone I'm detective bright but feel free to call me y/n"
OMG ITS FUCKING Y/N
Jake abruptly stands up and shouts "Y/N!"
"JAKEEEEEE!"
Y/n runs over to Jake and gives him a big hug while I'm still sat here trying to comprehend that she's really here after 3 years of not seeing her but I stand up any way after Jake has said hi and immediately hug her (god how I missed the sent of her lavender perfume)
"God I've missed you y/n" I whispered into her ear
"Missed you too Ro Ro" she whispered back god I forgot how that nickname sounded when it came out her mouth and this was why I never let anyone call it me, is because of her and how much I missed her.

Your pov

Oh my freaking god it's Rosa, how I have missed her she was the only one I could think about while being undercover and how much I have missed her and of course Jake. After letting go of Rosa I turned to see the other detectives looking at me really strangely and I was a bit confused.
?: "hi I'm Amy nice to meet you"
?: "Why does she get to call you Ro Ro but I can't, hi I'm Charles Jake's best friend"
?: "hi I'm Gina the human form of the 100th emoji"
"Omg great description and hello everyone"
Sarge: "well y/n seems tho you have already met Rosa as she's your new desk partner and I'm sure she and Jake can catch up with you and show you around"

So after Jake and Rosa had showed me around I now sat next to Rosa at her desk chatting with her and giving her some details about my undercover work when the new captain walked in on Jake saying "he's going to be another washed up pencil pusher who's only concerned with (robot voice)following every rule in the patrol guide meep mort zeep robot captain engaged"
Holt: "is that what you think"
Jake: "heyyyy captain you must be the new co I'm Jake Peralta it's so great to meet you"
Now at their point everyone had gathered around Jake Amy and holt and me and Rosa were silently giggling as Jake did his impression again.
Holt: "I'm your new commanding officer captain ray holt" "Jeffords a word"
Gina: "anyone get a bit of a gay vibe"
Which I nodded to and Gina went "anyone else no thanks y/n"
