A lone maiden stands on a grass field. She wears all black, and a gauzy veil covers her face. Achilles, still in the war, sends Patroclus out to find out who this mysterious lady is.

The brave messenger steps out onto what will soon be a killing field, and bows to the raven-black figure.

"Fair lady, I am Patroclus Menoetiades, messenger of Achilles. Mayhap I know your name and purpose, fore you stand between Troy and the Achaeans,"

Her only response is to turn her head slightly toward him. Peeved, Patroclus begins to repeat his message, only to be stopped at her sudden raised hand.

"I heard you the first time Patroclus son of Menoetius. Tell me, why does your master send one mortal to question the will of a goddess?"

A goddess? He thinks, eyes widening, kakka Patroclus, you really messed things up.

"My apologies fair lady, I knew not that you were a goddess, please. Forgive me."

"All is forgiven young one, now run before my brother catches you talking to me."

Furious horse beats sound, coming closer and closer. Patroclus turns, eyes wide with terror, and sprints back to the Achaean army. Breaching the front line and making it to saftey! But no. Arion, lord of horses takes a flying leap and lands on the mortal's back, breaking it in two places with his massive hooves. The second Patroclus is on the ground however, Arion turns and canters back to the unnamed goddess, letting her stroke his muzzle.

Achilles, driven by rage of desecration of his favourite boy orders his men to charge the goddess and take her down.

"Kill her!"

A small smile forms under her veil as she watches the small little mortals jog toward her on their horses. So many little humans, waiting for the wrath of a teenage goddess. The air shimmers; Hera, Enyo, and Eris appear beside her.

Hera lifts her arms and spreads them wide, "Well my darlings, this is the moment you all have been training for. Are you ready to reap some havoc?"

Enyo tilts her head back and crows with delight, "I am going to dig a moat and fill it with the blood of innocents!" She lowers her head a small smirk forming, "All in sacrifice to my dear pater

Eris matches her smirk giggling, but hiding it behind mesh-covered hands, "Our dear father needs all the strength he can less he gives out mid-fucking all those nymphs,"

"Ladies, ladies, we are civilised goddesses, we do not pry into the sexual tendencies of family, no matter how... interesting they might be. Now, aren't we here to have fun?" Hera says.

The mortals are nearly on them now, Hera, not wanting to be smote by Zeus gets the Hades out of there.

"I call the middle 'cause I was the one who caught this bunch." Despoina calls, "You girls can take the left and right,"

The goddesses file out in a line, ready to raze the Achaean army.

(Patroclus survives cause we still need him in the Trojan war don't worry 😉)
