"Yes, yes this'll do. Now, hurry yourself and find the tapestry. We're very busy, young lady, we don't have all day." Clotho urges her, already weaving a new string through the shimmering, three colored shuttle.
Atropos waves impatiently towards a black door at the back of the shop. "The finished ones are in there. Find the boy, and bring him here, if you're so displeased with my work." She sniffs.
Juliette limps towards the indicated door, moving as quickly as her aching body will allow. She's got to be half bled out by now, but she can't stop to check. Besides, if she treats the wounds and gets blood on her hands, she doesn't know how the corrosiveness will affect the strings of his tapestry. She reaches the door in a few strides, pushing her weight against it and slinging it open hurriedly.
Her heart drops.
Billions of tapestries are displayed on hanging racks before her. The simple, wooden-slat room stretches on further than her eyes can see. There's no rhyme or reason to it that she can pick up on. The tapestries are different sizes, different colors, and all display different symbols representing every event that took place between the time each mortal was born and died. The sight is dizzying (or is that the blood loss?), and Julie has to take a moment to compose herself.
How in Hades is she supposed to find him in all of this?
