I gave off a laugh as I walked back in grabbing my purse and the list I made and decided to head out.
(Y/N) POV
The air was humid as I walked outside my apartment building beginning to approach my car since high school. My car has been through ALOT of situations from driving me too and from school, to driving me to crappy parties.
I jumped into my car and turned on the engine. I got situated in my car putting my purse to my right when a dark cloud started to roll in. Though I loved the rain, I hated it while driving. Little sprinkles started to appear on my windshield so I decided to take off as quick as possible.
*15 MINUTES LATER*
I had finally arrived at the store that was quite busy even for a muggy day. Thankfully, the rain never picked up so it stayed more of a drizzle throughout the drive. Looking through my windshield I noticed the trees moving quite a bit, so I had to make this trip quick.
Walking into the grocery store I was met with the cold air from the freezers along the walls. There was only 2 baskets left so I jumped at the opportunity to grab one before there was none left. I began to push my cart through the aisles looking for items that were written on my list that I need.
"Okay I got the bread, the coffee, so now I need the milk."
I pushed my cart over to a freezer opening the door and reaching in for a carton of milk. Next to me was a tall man in all white shaking his head at another freezer with more milk cartons in it.
"I guess people don't need a milkman anymore."
The strange man continued shaking his head as he walked away in the other direction. That was weird, I thought. I reached back into my pocket pulling out my old faded wallet. I saw I had some extra money left so I headed to the best smelling aisle in the whole store, the seasoning section. I loved using all kinds of seasoning while cooking.
As soon as I rolled into the aisle my nose was met with the strong scent of flavor and spice. Immediately I made my way into finding some paprika and some tasteful garlic powder. I looked for the smallest bottle I could find (still trying to save money).
"Oo, bae leaves."
I said picking up a vile with some leaves in it. Little did I know someone was approaching behind me. I was checking the price when a voice spoke suddenly.
"*Clears throat* Uhm, excuse me."
The sudden voice made me jump slightly as I turned around seeing a man in a black shirt with some grey pants. His hair was black and a little messy with some heavy bags under his eyes. He was quite handsome, I thought, Wait, calm down I don't even know his name.
"Oh- sorry."
I said as the man reached over my head grabbing a seasoning I couldn't see the name of. He was looking at the package he grabbed that was full of what looked like cinnamon sticks. Weird. Who needs that much cinnamon?, I thought.
????? POV
I had to go out and buy some certain spices for the new dish at my restaurant. The dish needed some cinnamon and more sugar than I would like. Though I can't taste it, the recipe called for A LOT of sugar. Okay all I just need a few things then I'll be out, I thought. Before I left to the store I remembered to bring my umbrella. It had looked like it was to rain for a while now and I would hate for my hair to get wet.
Walking through the store the cold air from the vents and refrigerators hit me in seconds. I grabbed a small basket and slung it on my arm.
I began to make my way through the store going through the items I needed in my head, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and a small bag of flour. Walking through the aisles I found the messy shelves of flour and starch grabbing a small bag of flour, I already have some at the restaurant, I thought.
