"Prove it."

(Y/N) POV

My body shivered hearing the words "Prove it." ,so coldly coming from Vince's lips. I stared at him for a minute but then took a nervous gulp composing myself.

"I will."

I say with a soft smirk that went to a smile. Rody looked scared and nervous to see Vince's reaction, but his reaction was something that Rody looked shocked at. Vince smirked at me and gave me a scoff. He looked at Rody then back to me.

"I look forward to it."

Vince said that same smirk still plastered on his face. Rody looked at me then Vince then back to me then back to Vince.

"Seriously!!"

Rody somewhat yelled in shock.

"No lecture for being a smartass, nothing for unprofessionalism, really Vince!!?"

Rody said with wide eyes and completely over exaggerated gestures.

"At least they know what they're worth, and their not yelling in a professional establishment. Set a better example, Rody."

Vince said with a glare towards Rody and tapping his fingers on his crossed arms. Rody stood there speaking gibberish in disbelief as I, politely, giggled to myself.
Vince focussed his gaze back to me and sighed rubbing his forehead.

"(Y/N), you are to be here tomorrow at exactly 10am, you got it?"

I stood there with my mouth slightly parted and a smile gracing my lips. I nodded my head and replied...

"Yes, yes I will be here! Uhm, thank you Vince."

I say with a light smile as Rody still stood there in awe. Vince's face suddenly became a light pink but quickly changed as he raised an brow and scoffed.

"While you're here you will address me as Chef or Chef Vince."

Rody looked from me to Vince and back and forth. I didn't understand why until he interrupted my response.

"Uhm yes Che-"

And here we go...

"Woah, woah, woah Vince!"

Vince already looked annoyed he was even grumbling as he shot Rody a glare.

"How come they got in so easy, huh? How come they just flashed you a smile and you accepted them just like that?!"

Rody said flailing his arms about. Vince rubbed his forehead again and let out a loud deep sigh.

"Because Rody, they're not yelling at me nor are they making a disturbance in my kitchen. Also not to mention that they're not on the clock right now."

Vince says walking eerily closer to Rody, slow but fast with a sharp glare. Rody's eyes widened in realization as he looked up at the clock that was hanging right above the kitchen door.

"Shit-"

Rody said before running towards the kitchen doors almost knocking over one of the fellow chefs.
