Chapter 10. What happens now?

(In the hangar, the large, grand cruiser of the Supreme Chancellor lands in the courtyard of the main hanger. Morty and twenty troops guard Gaspen and Redd. Bolo, Susie, and her handmaidens stand before the criminals.)

Erika: Now, Prosecutor, you will go back to the Senate and explain all this.

Morty: I think you can kiss your franchise's ass goodbye.

Gaspen: Screw you, too, asshole!

(The main ramp of the cruiser is lowered as Bolo and Morty lead the Prosecutor and his assistant toward the ship. The Grand Chancellor Ghetsis and several Team Justice guards descend the walkway, followed by King DeDeDe and several other Nova Knights. Ghetsis is greeted by Susie.)

Susie: Congratulations on your election, Chancellor. It is so good to see you again.

Ghetsis: It's good to be home. Your boldness has saved our people, Madame Haltmann. It is you who should be congratulated. Together we shall bring peace and prosperity to the Multiverse.

(Bolo greets DeDeDe and the other Nova Knights as Morty takes the criminals onto the cruiser. The sun streams into the multi-windowed room of the palace at a low angle, but it is not quite sunset. King DeDeDe paces before Bolo, who is kneeling in the center of the room.)

King DeDeDe: The Council does concur with you getting the level of Nova Knight. But I don't agree on you taking this boy as your young Clockwork Star.

Bolo: Gary Oak believed in him. I believe in Gary Oak.

King DeDeDe: The boy may be the Chosen One... However, I fear grave danger will be in his training.

Bolo: Triple D, with all due respect, I gave Gary Oak my word. I will train Koga. Without the approval of the Council, if I must.

King DeDeDe: I sense Gary Oak's defiance in you. You don't need that. The council does agree, though. Therefore, young Fuchsia will be your apprentice.

(Children sing and throw flowers on the passing shiny Water-Types. The crowds cheer. It is a grand parade. Susie stands next to the Supreme Chancellor Ghetsis, Koga, Bolo, Falkner, and the Clockwork Star Council. Viger stands in front of Susie's handmaidens and waves his magnets at the participants. Susie and Ghetsis smile at one another. In the parade are the Shiny Seismitoad and his guards, Palpitoad and his shiny counterpart. The Palpitoads ride Crawdaunts. They stop before Susie and walk up the steps to stand by her side. The Shiny Seismitoad holds up the Globe of Peace. Everyone cheers as the parade marches on. Later that night, Gary Oak's body goes up in flames as the Clockwork Star Council, Susie, Falkner, Morty, the handmaidens, one hundred Floralia troops, twenty other Nova Knights, Ghetsis, Bolo (standing with Koga), Palpitoad, the Shiny Seismitoad, and twenty other Shiny Palpitoads watch. There is a drum roll that stops. Doves are released, and the body is gone. Koga looks up to Bolo with tears in his eyes.)

Bolo: He is one with the Memes, Koga... You must let go.

Young Koga: What will happen to me now?

Bolo: I will be your Master now, and you will become a Nova Knight, I promise.

(To one side, Android 17 turns to King DeDeDe.)

Android 17: There is no doubt. The mysterious warrior was a Soul Lord.

King DeDeDe: There's always two... A master and an apprentice.

Android 17: But which one was destroyed, the master... Or the apprentice?

(They give each other a concerned look as Ghetsis looks at the two Nova Knights.)
