i've been thinking of talking to george all day, but i'm not sure if i should
i think i have a crush on him, not once has he left my mind
it's gym right now but i'm skipping, i was planning on talking to him in miss lorenas class
i'm currently in the bathroom, but then i see him enter
he stares at me
"can we talk?" i ask, he stays quiet
"It's fine if you don't" i say
he continues to stay quiet, but eventually he replies
"okay" george says
i grab his wrist and gently pull him into the largest stall
i lock the door and sit down, he sits down next to me and pulls his legs to his chest
"i'm sorry" i say "i'm sorry, you did nothing, well kinda, i think you've forgotten" george says
"what did i do?" i ask "remember in sixth grade where you stole my chain?" george asks
"this is embarrassing, but which time?" i ask "the one where i told on you" george says
"yeah, i'm sorry, i was jealous" i say "why was that the only time you told?" i ask
"because, uhm" george looks away, "my parents passed away" george says
"i'm so sorry" i say before giving him a hug
"the chain was the last thing they gave me before they went on the trip that killed them" george says
"i'm so so sorry, i'll try to get it back" i say
i had left the chain at my grandparents house, my family goes every summer
"what do you mean try?" george asks
"i'll try to convince my mom to take me to my grandparents house, it's ten hours away" i say
"it's fine" george says
"no, if she says no i'll get it to you by the summer, we go each summer for two weeks" i say
"thank you dream" george says, he scoots closer to me and leans his head on my shoulder
"i'm still sorry for everything i've done, i was so mad at karl for hanging out with you guys, i guess he forgot" george says
"no it's okay, i understand why you're mad" i say
"was" george says
"you're not mad anymore?" i ask, george shakes his head no in response
there's silence in between us, but comfortable silence until george says something
"i like you too" george
"what?" i ask, how does he know
"i like you too" george repeats "i heard the first time, how do you know?" i ask
"jaylah" george shrugs
"oh" i say
he nods and snuggles closer to me, i wrap my arm around him
"i know this isn't romantic and shit but, will you be my boyfriend?" i ask
"yes" george smiles, kissing my hand
"you're so cute" i say "don't tell nobody thoughhh" george says
"whyy?" i ask "they're gonna try to pull us apart, a lot of people hate me but like you" george says
"well they could suck my dick" i say, pulling george onto my lap
"you're warm" george says "want my hoodie?" i ask "yes" george says
i move george a little forward and take off my hoodie, once he's put it on i pull him even closer to me
we sit there, in silence and stare at everything written on the walls
'ray was here'

'i'm gay lol'
'me too', the message was mine, wrote it last year
'mia was here'
"why is there so many was here's, i really don't give a fuck" george says
"literally" i say
"we should make out" george says "great idea" i say pulling him into a long kiss
we kiss for minutes until we're out of breath
we both take in a few breaths before connecting our lips again
we make out for about thirty minutes, then get up to go to art
"georgie" i say hugging his waist before we get out the bathroom
"i'm gonna miss you" i say "me too, we could hang out after i'm done with detention" george says
"ugh" i say "how longs the detention?" i ask as we leave the bathroom
"thirty minutes, was an hour but lucas was able to shorten it" george says
"damn" i say
we're early, so we stand by the water fountain, waiting for the bell to ring.
"yeah, only three more days i have it" george says
"maybe we could do something on the weekend" i suggest
"come to my house on the weekend" george says
"which day?" i ask "saturday" george says
"you should sleepover" george says "are you sure?" i ask "yes" george says, right before the bell rings
we watch as a couple kids enter miss lorenas class, so we enter as well
"hi boys" miss lorena says
we part ways
he sits with jaylah and i sit with sapnap and karl
no quackity though, he said something to george, that i still don't know of
that caused the fight, karl found out and went off on him, so now quackitys been hanging with a new girl
i watch as karl and sapnap enter, first they smile, they look at me, then at something and then have a confused look
"soo" sapnap says as him and Karl sit down
"what?" i ask "whered you go?" sapnap asks "i skipped" i say "yeah, with george?" karl asks
"um no" i lie "yes you did, you both didn't come to class, where's your hoodie at? oh it's on george" sapnap says
i continues to deny it, i'll ask george if i could tell them later
