I do know everyone here, it's my job to guide them.

Jamie: so what do angels usually do since I'm new here?

We guide the souls of people who have passed on, we also help them get settled in their new home. And sometimes if they need it, I give a hug.

Jamie: what do they do and how do I join?

They are the army that protects heaven from any threats. To join you would need to go through extensive training, and then if they deem you worthy of being in their ranks they will accept you into the military.

Jamie: they could totally use someone like me I used to be in the military. I know all the right moves used to be in the military with someone, but that was a long time ago. Do you think they can use me?

*he thinks for a moment*  You do seem like you would be an asset to the military, and it wouldn't hurt to try. So I don't see why they wouldn't let you join.
