I am so stressed out. Between practices and this presentation, I have only been in the Unholy Trinity all week. This trinity being class, the gym and my dorm room. I was currently leaving class to get to my dorm so, the cycle continues for now.

Summer pretty much told me this morning that I needed a break so, we were going out. Apparently, it's a small kick off for the season.

I pray she is telling the truth.

"Guess who?" I felt a pair of hands come up from behind me to cover my eyes.

"What in the senior antics..?" I sighed. Unfortunately, a light chuckle did come out as well.

"It's your favorite senior on the basketball team.." The voice, which I obviously know whose is, continued.

"Oh, hey Aubrey!" I greeted with my eyes still covered.

"Very funny," Paige finally uncovered my eyes and moved in view. "Also, I will be telling Nika and Lili about your little comment."

"All because I didn't say you're my favorite? Petty." I shook my head and started walking towards my car again. Paige immediately stepped in rhythm with me.

"Maybe?" She shrugged, smiling down at me. "So, Summer told us that you're finally letting yourself out of the dungeon. What are you gonna wear?"

"I just confirmed my attendance. I'll figure it out when i get to my room," I replied looking up at her with a teasing expression. "Why did you want to match, Paigey-kin's?"

"One, no. Two, ew." She laughed. "Last, It's because it's themed."

"Oh, word? What's the theme?"

"Rep yo set."

"Um, I thought this was a college party?I am not gang affiliat-"

"Not like that, goofy." She shook her head with a grin on her face. "It's more so repping where you're from."

"Oh, period!" I nodded as we finally reached my car. "I can definitely work with that."

I leaned against my front door and looked up at the girl in front of me. Paige was so damn tall, like annoyingly so. She was also, really close right now.

She gave me a quick once over. The heat of her gaze felt like an actual physical pull. But, we weren't touching at all.

"Was that all?" I asked, more like squeaked, out loud. Curse you, voice.

"Mhm, that's it," Paige replied. There seemed to be a deep uncertainty in her voice as she slowly backed away from me. "I'll see you tonight, yeah?"

I just nodded. I don't trust my vocal cords anymore.

She waved and uttered a quick 'see ya' as she walked the other way, towards her car, I'm assuming.

What the fuck was that.

"What the fuck is that?" Summer shouted from behind me. I was currently throwing around outfit options for the party. Right now, I was showing her a fit of a Knicks jersey and cargo pants.

"An option.." I replied, smiling proudly.

"Uh, no." She shook her head. "I need at least one ounce of cleavage in order. for me to approve."

"Ugh, fine!" I spun around to brainstorm some more.

"And don't you dare try to put on those high heeled timbs!"

"That's New Yorker-phobic!"

"Stalker." I heard from behind me.

"Man, shut up."

"I peeped that time at the top! That shit says '3 minutes ago.'" Nika laughed. "You got Honey's notifications on. Don't you?"

"Oh, she absolutely does." Ice popped in, swinging her keys around. She was the DD tonight.

"Can we just go?" I asked, attempting to change the subject. If Honey was ready, we could probably get there around the same time if we left right now.

"Bro, I just got out the shower," KK yelled from the other room. "Let me at least get dressed."

Oh, great. This was going to be at least another hour.

"Aye, we still got them leftover sandwiches in the fridge?" I asked aloud to no one in particular. I went over without waiting for an answer and got two sandwiches to put in a microwave.

"You really don't know patience." Azzi spoke up. Nika laughed and Ice took a picture of me.
