A Devil In Man

I wonder of how it may,
To feel what I see.
To touch what I heard.
To taste what I dreamed.

Fairy godmother! Hear me!
Pitiful of me, begging for piece.
A curb of bread it called love,
Spare me, give it to me.

A dashing man, a prince of dream,
I longed to be sway, and fly in high,
Alas! clouds are hard, what an ugly sight.
Silly me, please bring me down.

I ran and ran, away from him.
Fairy godmother! Hear me!
Take me away! Lock me in the tower!
Don't let no one touch me again!

A man, a beast, is alike.
They resemble a devil, I fear.
Heaven! Please hear my plea,
To erase my sins.
