Is This Nigga Serious??
Aizawa had Mineta in a death grip with his wraps to shut him up from saying something perverted about his "sticky balls"?? I don't know, Y/N just got down here.
"I don't remember giving you permission to come in." Their teacher grumbled at the man in the wrinkled suit, seemingly suspicious as well. The class was rigid with anticipation, what would a journalist want with their school? Well, aside from being exceptional heroes, and almost dying a million times, that is. Aizawa had told them before hand that they would be in the news, Y/N came to the conclusion that it was most likely because of the Sports Festival.
The lanky man, pushing up his glasses with his slender finger, pushed back his sleeve with a chuckle. "Sorry about that. I was told I 8 AM to 6 PM...? So unless my watch is wrong..." Aizawa held his stare, his face emotionless and unamused as he let go of mineta, shoving his hand back in his pocket in silent admission.
The journalist stood smugly in front of the children, leaning down a bit so he wouldn't seem so scarily tall. "Hello everyone, my name is Taneo Tokuda. I'm looking forward to working with you all."
"Nice to meet you." They all said in unison, bowing deeply in his direction. "Ohayo gozaimasu."
Bakugo didn't like the guy that much, stealing glances at you and making a slicing motion with his thumb across his neck, raising an eyebrow, with eyes that asked "you dare me?"
"What? No, don't-" The girl sighed tiredly. Only aderall could save him now.
"Now, you don't have to do anything special, as I said. Just go about your day exactly as you normally would! The camera will do most of the work. I may ask an occasional question or two, and I hope you'll answer." He finished that fancy little address with a smile, bright and quite friendly.
"Ah!" Mina and Hagakure perked up a little, squealing over his teeth. "He's got such a nice smile!"
"That is so not a woman..." Said the midget.
Aizawa and the journalist discussed a few words before their teacher rolled his eyes, raising a hand to pause the conversation. "Iida, if there's a problem let me know about it. Okay?"
Iida, always taking pride in being acknowledged as a leader, stood at attention and his eyes brightened behind his glasses as if he were the perfect man for the job, which made Y/N smile. She loved to see the boy enjoy himself for once.
"Of course, sir! As class representive, I will carry out my duty to ensure the safety of all my fellow students, no matter wha-"
"That's great, thanks." The journalist cut him off with an awkward smile, Iida awkwardly shutting his mouth.
He continued rambling about what we'd be doing this time of day, but Y/N eyes shifted a little to see Aizawa staring back at her. This would creep her out, if she didn't know any better. Her brows furrowed just a bit, watching his two fingers signal for her to come here.
"I know he's up to something," He whispered, his gravelly voice going as soft as it could so no one could here. Huh, she thought. Maybe Baguko is a little right for wanting to take him out. And Denki, for assuming he's on Diddy's list.
"Doesn't feel criminal though, so let's leave him to it for now. Just keep a close eye on him," Aizawa grabbed her arm before she walked away, raising her eyebrows. "And ask him about...you know, the murders? The ships you saw coming in, all that stuff."
"Got it." Y/N gave him a thumbs up and returned to her classmates, getting ready to sit down and eat breakfast witih them. Whatever was going on, didn't feel all that right to her. She was just glad the journalist was distracted for now, and had forgotten about talking to her privately for now.
_______
It wasn't until nearly 3 PM that Taneo caught up with her, snapping a photo of her waterbending near the school's fountain. Y/N was deep in thought, so the sound of the shutter made her jump and turn around. "Uhh..." She grimaced, watching him eye the picture proudly. He seemed real passionate about his work.
"Hi?"
"Hello." He chuckled and put the camera away, shoving his fists in his pockets. His footsteps were quiet against the stone as he stood next to her, simply staring at his reflection in the water.
"You're good at that." He broke the silence after a few moments, watching her (e/c) eyes stare at him cautiously. Y/N raised her eyebrows, a little touched at the compliment. She smiled politely, shrugging.
"Thanks...you said you uh, had a few questions for me earlier?"
