Guys, I was reviewing my old stories and realized I started this Troll series back in April of 2017. That was seven years ago! Never in a million years had I thought people would see my series and go; 'hey, that's pretty neat. Now give me more-'It's really been a journey, especially when I see how my writing has evolved and grew from when I first started!

______________ ___ __ _
They've been on the road for hours now, trying to figure out where Clay might be. Bruce had given up trying to talk to him awhile back, after only receiving cold glares and sharp snippy replies for his efforts. Branch doesn't know how to feel about his brothers trying to reconnect with him and act like there was nothing wrong.
Maybe that's what was rubbing him the wrong way the most; the fact that they were trying to sweep what they did to him under the rug and try to move past it- move past his trauma that they caused.
Like a few words could fix everything.
"Will Floyd even make it through that show?" Bruce's voice broke through the heavy quiet, concern clear as day on his face. Branch turned just in time to see his brother reach over and turn off the radio, before turning to see what Poppy and John were doing.
"Don't worry! We're gonna make it!" Poppy's optimistic voice wasn't enough to shake the cloud forming over everyone's heads, especially when it sounded as forced as it did now. Her bright voice was strained, the smile plastered on her face so tight that it made Branch's face hurt just by looking at her. "We've been looking for clues to find Clay!"
Branch felt his face pinch at the sight of his once carefully constructed clue-board. His jaw clenched. "Oh, we're using my clue-board now? After you claimed we didn't need it?" He snarked, irritation sparking inside him at the fact that they covered up his work with their own. "You know, the one that I made?"
He was ignored, and he growled under his breath. His frustrations spiking, a familiar burn stinging his chest, before he sharply turned and stomping away to go sit somewhere else.
But then something caught his eye; a picture frame hanging on the wall.
Of Clay's underwear.
That's... extremely disgusting, but it gave him an idea. Rhonda is a predator... which means she can track!
Branch quickly smashed the glass, ignoring the outrage his destruction caused, he pinched the edge of the undies with his fingertips with a grimace, before booking it to the front of the bus where the driver seat was, and opened the window before shoving half his body outside.
"Branch! What are you doing?!" Poppy exclaimed in panic.
"Get down from there! You'll fall!" Bruce fretted as he jumped from his seat.
"My funderdrawers!"John cried out.
The survivalist ignored them and pulled one of his unsharpened sticks from his hair, and quickly moved the underwear to the tip of it, before sticking it in front of Rhonda's face.
She was quick to sniff it and get familiar with the, definitely rancid, smell. Once he knew she had the scent, Branch 'accidentally' dropped the stick and the undies outside, before crawling back into the bus.
Everyone stood there dumbfounded.
"What did you do?" John asked, as everyone looked mystified by Branch's sudden decision to dangle himself outside the bus with a pair of dusty old underwear.
