Bonnie had practically begged Sophia to go to dinner at Elena's with her. Elena wanted Bonnie and Stefan to get along, but Bonnie had another witchy feeling and doesn't trust him. Not that Sophia blames her.

Bonnie is using the fact that Elena and Sophia don't get along as an excuse to bring her. She said she wants them to all be friends and not have any animosity in the group.

Mountains of complaints later and Sophia still couldn't get out of it, so there she was, awkwardly eating dinner with the three as silence filled the room.

"Did Tanner give you a hard time today?" Elena spoke up trying to get the conversation going.

"Well he let me on the team, so I must have done something right." Stefan smiled. Bonnie looked disinterested as she pushed food around her plate. Sophia wanted the ground to swallow her whole.

"Bonnie, you should've seen Stefan today. Tyler threw a ball right at him and-"

"I heard." Bonnie cut her off. Sophia's full body cringed, she was counting down the minutes till this dinner was over.

"Sorry about Tyler, he can be an asshole." She spoke to Stefan with a small smile. She saw Tyler throw the ball at him today, and smacked him across the head. Not only was he being a bully, but he was also actively pissing off a vampire.

"Why don't you tell Stefan about your family." Elena continued, trying to spark some conversation into Bonnie and Stefan.

"Um, divorced. No mom, live with my dad." Bonnie replied, a confused look on her face.

"No, about the witches." Elena laughed and Stefan's interest peaked. He had his suspicions about Bonnie being a witch but wasn't sure.

"Bonnies family has a lineage of witches it's really cool." Sophia agreed with this. She thought being a witch was badass.

"Cool isn't the word I'd use." Bonnie shrugged.

"Well, it's certainly interesting. I'm not too versed but I do know that there's a history of Celtic Druids... that migrated here in the 1800s." Stefan said. Sophia rolled her eyes. Know it all, she thought.

"My family came by way of Salem."

"Really? Salem witches?" Stefan raised his eyes in surprise.

"Yeah."

"I'd say that's pretty cool." He turned to Elena, who smiled back at him. Sophia wanted to take the knife she had and jam it into her eye.

"Really? Why?" Bonnie asked.

"Salem witches are heroic examples of individualism and nonconformity." Stefan answered. Sophia's lips twitched slightly, that was Bonnie down to a tee.

"Yeah they are." She replied with a smug grin. Sophia allowed Stefan into her good graces after that. Bonnie had been really freaked about this whole witch business and she's glad he made her feel more confident about it.

There was a lull in the conversation after that, not that Sophia minded. Bonnie and Stefan had made their peace, she didn't want Bonnie to try the same with her and Elena.

"Sophia, how are you enjoying being back in Mystic Falls?" Stefan broke the silence. Sophia shrugged.

"It's like I never left. Nothing has really changed." Except for the vampires, her being a werewolf and Bonnie now being a witch.

"Why did you leave again?" Elena asked accusingly. She didn't like Stefan giving Sophia attention, not that she would admit it. But earlier in the day he was also asking about Sophia, Elena didn't know why she interested him so much.
