Alan paced back and forth in the hospital waiting room, his heart pounding with anticipation and nervousness. He finally sat down after a while, while Charlie and Babe sat beside him, Babe's reassuring hand on Alan's shoulder. They had been waiting for what felt like an eternity, but finally, the doctor emerged from the delivery room with a tired smile.
"Congratulations, Mr. Alan," she said warmly. "You have two healthy baby boys and one girl."
Alan's eyes widened with disbelief and joy. Three babies? He exchanged a stunned glance with both Charlie and Babe before a surge of excitement washed over him. He is finally a dad, a father, and to his surprise, he's a father to triplets.
Rushing into the nursery, they were greeted by the sight of three tiny bundles wrapped snugly in blankets. Alan felt tears welling up in his eyes as he reached out his hand on the big glass window that was keeping him between him and his three kids to touch their tiny hands.
"They're beautiful," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion.
Charlie nodded, his eyes shining with happiness now that he was going to be an uncle. Babe holds Charlie on his waist also sharing the happiness of his soon-to-be husband while they look at their little nephews and niece. "Congrats, P'Alan," Babe says and Alan's smile widen.
In that moment, as he gazed down at his sleeping sons and daughter, Alan felt like the world aligned as he saw how handsome and beautiful his kids were and he felt proud that he was going to be a father now, along with Jeff. Their family was now complete.
After looking at his newborn kids, he went to check on Jeff who was now in a new private room in the hospital where he could rest and heal after giving birth to three kids.
While Charlie and Babe tidied up the things, clothes, and fruits, that they brought for Jeff's recovery process in the hospital, Alan sat down beside the sleeping Jeff. The old man looked at the ragged omega who looked like he had come back from battle. Well, he did, a battle called pregnancy that is.
The doctor has told them he will be fine but Alan was still worried about his young husband. Jeff was still young and giving birth to three babies or carrying them for nine months wasn't easy at all. If Alan could carry the burden of carrying and giving birth to the three kids they have, just so his husband wouldn't be in this state, he would. Well at least Jeff was okay and since he was young, his recovery would be fast.
Alan admired his husband's facial features while he tidied up Jeff's hair, tucking his bangs on his ears while he held Jeff's hand in his other hand. Alan couldn't be more grateful to have Jeff as his mate, as his husband. Jeff undeniably was the cutest and the most beautiful omega Alan had ever seen, or he was just a simp but to him, it was a fact.
"Alan, if you keep on looking at my brother like that you will burn a hole in him," Charlie says as the two exchange looks, Alan laughs. "You're just jealous because you don't see Babe looking at you like that, don't worry he does, he even does it more than me." Alan teases Charlie as the boy looks at his fiance and Babe raises his hand in defeat. "Lung, you always tell on me." Babe pouts as he hugs Charlie from behind while they look at Alan so the old man rolls his eyes in response as he looks back at Jeff.
"Sorry Babe, Charlie is Jeff's brother I need to score points with him or he'll take Jeff away from me," Alan says laughing along with Charlie. "Geez you simp," Babe mutters but Alan ignores it. He wasn't going to deny he adored Jeff more than anything and now that Jeff has given him a family, his adoration for the young man was off the roof.
While they were talking to each other, Jeff suddenly woke up from his sleep. He scrunched his face before he started to open his eyes slowly.
"Jeff." Alan softly said, not wanting to startle his husband. Charlie breaks free from the grip of his fiance as he goes closer to his brother. "Alan..." He sounded hoarse, from a dry throat after screaming from the pain probably so Charlie immediately prepared a glass of water for Jeff to drink, handing it to Alan because Jeff was still in a daze.
