Ariana woke up with a shudder. It was midnight and she felt cold, a chilly feeling was dominating her room. She got up and closed the windows, standing there in silence, making her presence wanted. Smiling at her destruction. Her room seemed different, unpleasant. She felt she was in the wrong place or maybe she was the wrong person here. Who do you think you are? she whispered to herself. Ariana felt like a mad woman. moving away from the window backwards she sat at the edge of the bed, looked up the ceiling and closed her eyes.

Imagining herself driving on an empty road as fast as she can. A much better feeling. Her mind provoked her to think more. So she continued imagining her lover by her side. This time he was the one driving. Fast. Faster. The car sped matching the beats of her heart. Imagining to stop the car at an edge of the cliff. Ariana looking at him and the moon shining above them. She could finally sense the love in his eyes... kept on looking deeper, to get a closer look at the love he held for her... as soon as he blinked his eyes,a rush of warm love flowed through her, his stare leaving her in a trance. the blinking continued and so did the love whispering in her ear.... But all this was just a figure of her mind. there was no way imaginations were to come true. Some possibilities were just out of her reach, she needed more time alone to figure out herself. That was the hardest part of life.

She went back into another flashback of how they had met. What a lovely afternoon it was. And the taste of coffee had her jolly, curse that coffee!

She got up and made her way to her bathroom. "Can you scare your self?", she talked out loud while looking in the mirror. Her eyes turned red. The fire inside her flickered through her eyes. "So easy to fool everyone is it?" she questioned again. "You mad bitch!" clenching her teeth , she let the tap running. Admiring the water flow so smoothly. Wondering about such tiny details at the middle of the night. She washed her face twice to get a grip of her herself. staring back into the mirror, she closed the tap. As she was about to leave she heard water running again. "The hell.." the water was running in the tub. she moved away the curtains and stood their frozen. Her scream got stuck in her throat. Her eye twitched and she stepped back slowly, making her way out of the bathroom. The urge to stop swept over her, her curiosity demanded her to bow down to it. Her body shivered. Fear could be sensed in her breath.

For there right in the tub, sat a man with burned skin. Fat like a pumpkin, his oily hair falling on his forehead. He looked like he hadn't showered in years, his hands bruised and cuts around his neck. He stood with a slow movement and called her name in a very familiar voice,

"Ariana. My canary"...
