Chapter One
"I love giving a performance" she whispered in his ear, biting his lobe lightly as she moved away.
"Quiet an actress you are"
"That's because I'm too young to be forgotten" she snapped. He pushed her against the wall and held her hands above her head, "you do realize I'm here to protect you"
"Are your lips the only protection I get Arnold" she took a deep breath over his mouth brushing her tongue across his lower lip.
She could feel him harden against her stature. But Arnold didn't care he wanted to love her in every way he could.
He captured her mouth in a hungry kiss, leaving her trembling, he urged her to open her mouth sliding his hands up and down furiously against her back and as soon as she let him in he was drenched in the sweetness of her mouth. It wasn't soon when he moved away and Ariana heard herself groan with disappointment. After several moments she opened her eyes and saw the hardness of his jaw,his lips molded in a quirk. She took his hands in hers.
"Why did you stop", Ariana whispered.
"I lose control when I am with you" He moved awayfrustrated.
Isn't that what you're supposed to loose. She wondered to herself. Ariana walked up to him hugging him from the back." We should sleep now" she suggested.
"What do you mean 'we'?" Ariana was taken aback from the question. He could feel the pain she felt. The hurt expression on her face was revealing thousands of stories he could not understand, but he was aware he wasn't good enough for her. He was there only to keep her stable until she was strong enough to stand alone.
"I just thought I could sleep here tonight with you" she said in a hushed voice. Arnold could notice how her voice shook, he was sad to hurt her but he had to. "Not today love". Ariana was silent for a moment, fighting back her tears. She could not help but think how wonderful her past was. The way she used to crawl up to the man she used to be in love with. Sleeping on his chest and forgetting all her worries. She felt her heart sink and tears collect in her eyes. The tears she used to cry every night after that man left. And now she was here. In Arnolds arms. Another man. The man she wasn't in love with. The man she only knew for a month.
"How about a hug, that will equally make you feel better, sweet love"
"It's okay Arnold, I understand" she lied.
But of course, Ariana was girl who would understand. She had no other choice. In a world full of miseries she faced, she was tired of fighting herself in a battle with truth. Rich, talented and bold Ariana.
She moved swiftly across the room to the bed. Picked up her jeans and started to get dressed. Arnold watched her closely the way she laid down on the bed swinging her legs in the air and enjoyed wearing her jeans like that. A total drama, he thought.
"Do you always wear your jeans that way" he asked
She giggled; "It's easier to get them across my legs this way" She looked for her shirt under the bed. 'It's not here".
"You mean this?" Arnold had her shirt in his hands, gesturing her to come and take it. Ariana blushed. Arnold loved it when she did that. She had a light brown complexion and yet he could see her cheeks turn pink every time she blushed. She helped herself intoher shirt and was ready to leave.
"Don't give your heart away Ariana"
"Not even you?" she asked
"Not even me. Your heart is too precious for anyone to have it."
How can it be precious when it doesn't exist? Ariana thought.
"I...I should go now" Arnold walked up to her and hugged her. He could feel his body get warm again. She's so hot. He rubbed his face on her shoulder placing kisses on her neck. Ariana started feeling uncomfortable. Why does he want me if he can't even sleep with me for just one night? "Was it too much I asked for?" Ariana dint realize she spoke her thoughts aloud.
Arnold was irritated. 'We have talked over this a million times now Ariana.'
"I'm not asking you to do anything. Let me just sleep.' Silence rose between the two. He did not know what to say next. Ariana almost did everything he had asked her. And just one favor and he couldn't do it. She stormed out banging the door behind her.
Ariana walked alone along the hall and out of the building. Her mind was spinning with vivid thoughts. She could still feel Arnold's lips. Taking short steps she moved into an alley. It was dark and a little after 12. Her legs were shaky and she was tired of all the extravagance that took place in the room. She wanted to go home. Change into comfortable clothes and cuddle in her bed. As she walked she wrapped her arms around her. She could hear her footsteps. What a funny thing, she thought. The shops were closing down; boys were leaving the ground after a heated game of football. Cars passed by in speed on the empty road and she had nothing to do but walk her way out of another painful misery she faced.
Ariana's world seemed a mess. Everyone around her was careless. What was her use in this place? People remembered her when they were the ones in need. Girls would talk to her about their problems and men...
Well that was another story. Soon she was at the doorstep of her place. She searched her pockets for the spare key and unlocked her way in. darkness. Everyone must be sleeping, she shivered. Ariana went up to her room. Turned the lamps on. She could not believe her eyes for a moment. Her mouth opened in an O. she was frozen in horror.
"This can't be" she whispered in shock.
This can't be!" the house was filled with screams.
