You're like a ray of sunshine bursting through the stormy clouds, forming a rainbow in the bright sky, chasing the rain away
you're my favorite food to a sad, solemn day
your smile is so genuine, sweet and caring it could melt any built up stress away
Your laugh fills rooms, happy and radiating
Your hugs, so warm, welcoming, inviting
My insecurities dissipate in your embrace, no longer thriving
My tears could be rolling, thundering, storming in like a hurricane
I could hear the patience in your voice when you said "I still love you the same"
I've never felt anything like this before, patient, loving, steadfast
I just know in my heart, this loves going to last
Sure we move a bit fast, some couples do
But it feels like the perfect pace for me, and the same for you
So with this poem I'm writing, it's a constitution to my love for you
I can't wait for the day we both say "I do" 💍 💒
