"So, You want me to avoid my best friend, because the other gods don't know how to manage their arrogance and anger", said Amaya, after the Fates explained. "Only for some time, after Artemis understands what Apollo has to go through, then we will return them to their bodies", said Future. Amaya sighed and nodded, then the Fates left, "I am going to hate every minute of this".

No one's POV

Apollo went to see Amaya later that day, but Amaya told him that she couldn't. "I thought you already finished your job?", Apollo asked. "No, it's not that. I don't want to hang out because it'll be weird", said Amaya, she had a look of sadness on her face, "Let me guess, I look like Artemis and you don't like Artemis, and you can't talk to my body because of the things we talk about", Apollo said. Amaya nodded with a smile on her face, "Sorry, Pollo. Maybe when this is over". Apollo sighed, "Yeah, see you later". Amaya felt bad for not hanging out with him, but it was only for a while, so she thought it would be easy.

While that was happening, Artemis was in Olympus, minding her own business when Hephaestus came storming up to him (her), and pushed Apollo into the wall. Artemis was confused by this, "What the hell, Hephaestus", said Artemis. "Where's my hammer, Apollo", said Hephaestus. Artemis was trying to get out of his grip, but for some reason, she couldn't. "I don't have your hammer, Hephaestus! Why would I even have it in the first place!", yelled Artemis. "Don't play dumb, I know you know where it is", said Hephaestus, he was angry that he couldn't find his hammer, he had lost sight of it a few days ago, and one of the other gods had said Apollo might have it.

Artemis caught Hephestus' hand before he landed another punch, "For the last time Hephaestus, I don't have your damn hammer!", yelled Artemis. Normally, she would feel loads of rage, but in Apollo's body, she didn't. This caught her off, and the pain from the punch didn't hurt as much as they usually would have, "If you don't have it then where is it", Said Hephaestus. "Try Ares, he always takes things and forgets to ask", Artemis said, wiping her nose. Hephaestus then left to go search for Ares, leaving Apollo, (Artemis), alone. Artemis still felt the strange detachment from her emotions that came with being in Apollo's body, she touched the area where Hephaestus punched, seeing a bruise forming. She felt like she was missing something, something important. "I can't believe I'm doing this", Artemis said as she teleported to Amaya.

Artemis appeared in front of Amaya, who wasn't fazed when she appeared. "Apol-, I mean Artemis, if you're going to ask me a question, I can't answer nor help you", Amaya said, but Artemis just looked at her, "And why can't you exactly?". Amaya sighed and put the papers she was looking at down, "The fates told me not to, do I need to explain further. If you need help then ask your brother", Amaya said. Artemis left without saying anything and teleported to Apollo, "Apollo I hate to ask for help, but I have to ask something else first, and do you promise to be truthful", Artemis the moment she appeared in front of Apollo. Apollo looked at her, already guessing about what by the bruise, "Who", was the only thing Apollo said. Artemis eyed him, "Hephaestus, and why was-", Artemis said before being cut off by Apollo, "Can you sit down before I tell you, and can you need to promise that you'll stay put", Apollo said pulling up two chairs.

Artemis slowly took a seat, still eyeing her brother, "Artemis", Apollo started, "I'm going to tell you that getting punched is a normal, mostly weekly thing, and that, well", Apollo trailed off. "Well, what?", Artemis asked, "And what do you mean 'mostly weekly thing', getting punched in the face is normal for you?". Apollo nodded, looking down. Artemis looks at her brother, "How long....", Artemis asks, "How long has this been going on, Apollo". Apollo rubs the back of his neck, not looking Artemis in the face, "Apollo, how long has this  been going on". Apollo mumbled something under his breath, then finally looked at Artemis, "A few centuries, though it might have started away before the whole 'us killing 12 kids' thing". Artemis thought back to that day, "You mean the children of Niobe, queen of Thebes? But it was both of us that did that, and that was because she kept saying things about our mother".

"Yeah, and at the time, the mortals blamed us for some other stuff", Apollo said, getting up and walking to the balcony, "When and what did they blame us for exactly?", Artemis asked as she walked over to where Apollo was standing.
