Sneaking out

Maya:hi mom hi dad
Tim&Lucy:hi
Maya:i have a question
Tim:whats up
Maya:well theres this party tonight and i really want to go
Lucy:sweetie im sorry but you know your dad and i's rules about party not until your 18
Maya:but everyone is going to be there i don't want to be the only one not going
Tim:i think you will live its just a party
Maya:but
Tim:uh uh we said no and thats final

Maya stomps up all the way back to her bedroom and slams her door shut

Tim:what is it with the door slamming in the house lately
Lucy:shes a teen
Tim:Isaiah does it to when he gets mad
Lucy:face it they both have our tempers
Tim:uggg karma for my teen years i swear
Lucy:mine too
Tim:oh like you ever acted out
Lucy:i will have you know i snuck out plenty of times without my parents knowing until the last time when they caught me and put bars on my window
Tim:the only smart thing they ever did

A little later they go to check on the kids before bed and find maya missing

Tim:do you know where your sister is

I:ok ok she went to Bryces party

Tim:go to your room Isaiah
I:am i in trouble
Tim:you covered for your sister
I:but i told you
Tim:Isaiah go we will talk in the morning
