Tim:hey how was school
Maya:great
Tim:you ok hunny your acting weird
Maya:im fine
Tim:ok
He drives over to the next school and picks up Isaiah
Tim:hey buddy

Tim:how was your day
I:good
Tim:ok
He drives them both home and they all go in
Lucy:hi
Tim:hi
Lucy:whats wrong
Tim:Maya is acting weird
Lucy:what do you mean
Tim:she was fidgety in the truck when i got her when i asked her how school was she said great but then her leg started bouncing
Lucy:hm could just be anxiety
Tim:maybe
Lucy:she will talk to us when shes ready

Lucy:i was thinking about spaghetti for dinner

Lucy:ok
The next day Tim and Lucy are at work they are in the middle of a case with Angela when Tims phone rings its Mayas school he shows Lucy and they step away

S:hi is this Mr.Bradford
Tim:it is
S:hi we are calling cause Maya got into a fight
Tim:a fight that doesn't sound like Maya
S:we are gonna need you or your wife down here
Tim:we are on our way
Lucy:whats going in with her
Tim:i don't know
They go to the school and go into the office
Tim:hi we are here for our daughter Maya we got told she was in a fight
S:yes shes right over there
They look over at Maya and go over to her
Tim:hey what happened
Maya:she wouldn't stop picking on my friend i told her to stop she didn't i hit her we fought
Lucy:are you alright baby
Maya:im fine mom she got the worst of it
Tim:thats my girl
Lucy:Tim we don't encourage fighting she says winking at him so the school people cant see.

P:yall can come back to my office and we can speak
Tim:Maya stay here ok
M:ok dad
They go back with the principal
P:ok before we start i just wanna say i know Maya was defending her friend im proud of her
But unfortunately i still have to suspend her
Lucy:we understand
Tim:what about the other girl
P:she has been suspended as well and given detention every Friday for 3 weeks

They walk out and take Maya with them
Maya:mom dad im sorry
Tim:we aren't mad Maya
Maya:you aren't
Lucy:no we are proud of you for sticking up for your friend
Maya:thanks my hand hurts

She shows him her hand and he sees some bruises
Tim:yeah we need to teach you how to throw a punch better

He hugs her

Lucy:well looks like your hanging at the station until your dad and i are off

They go back
Angela:hey what happened
Tim:a bully wouldn't leave her friend alone she told her to stop she didn't Maya hit her they fought
Angela:good girl oh your poor hand
Maya:you should see the other girl
Lucy:just to be clear we don't condone fighting

Lucy:that being said i say we get ice cream after we leave
Maya:yeah and dads credit card
Tim:why do you need my credit card
Maya:shopping spree
