Knock knock,
as i linger the block
through small walk
head's high up,
memories that's
embedded in rock.

Tick tock,
I feel so heavy,
the ground feels
soft on contrary.
Orthostatic hit
as i stand,
i can't breathe
as i long,
your warm hand.

See saw,
As the dawn
kisses our pace
i remember
your captivating
honey face.
How it depicts
a place — almost
as if a paradise
in displays.

Knock knock
Open it up!
that heart surrounded
with thorny fence,
full on defense.
How can i stop
something immense?
for your presence
captures the essence
of being in home—
a place freely to roam,
sanctuary where i belong.
