The siblings ate their dinner in their cousins' house that night. At 9pm, their parents knocked on the door with tired smiles and the septuplets bid their goodbyes.
"Why are you so late!" Duri had wailed at them after he answered the door. It took Gempa ten minutes to calm him down.
And then Taufan told him that Sori will be expecting the second youngest tomorrow. It's nighttime, but the six brothers thought the sun had descended upon them via Duri's beaming smile.
Gempa wished his little brothers a good night as he dragged his two unwilling twins to clean up the kokotiam shop and properly closed it for the night.
They went to bed near eleven.
The next morning, Gempa woke up to see nearly half of his siblings had gone early. This is not an uncommon thing. Sometimes they had to come early, and left before seven. The third eldest just hopes they already had their breakfast.
"Good morning." Yawned Duri, rubbing his heavy eyes. Entering the kitchen lets his senses smell the breakfast Gempa's cooking.
"Morning." The golden-eyed teen replied.
"Gemgem, have you seen Solar?"
"He left a note saying that he's doing his project before school starts. Why don't you catch up to him in the library?"
"Nah, never mind."
They both glanced at the door as the sound of footsteps was heard again.
"Morning!" Called a cheerful Taufan, a hilarious contrast to his sleep deprived brother beside him.
Duri replied with the same level of enthusiasm whilst Gempa glanced at his brother worriedly, "Did you not sleep well, Hali?"
"I was—" Halilintar yawns into his hand, "Homework."
"You were homework?" Taufan let out a snort at the wrong grammar.
Halilintar's red irises sharpened into a glare. Taufan in his show of maturity decided to stick his tongue out. Gempa sighs.
Duri stared at his older brothers back and forth while giggling like it was a particularly interesting ping pong match.
"Huh, the other three are already off?"
"Yeah." Gempa nods at Taufan's question, "Solar wanted to work on his project, Ais has cleaning duty today, while Blaze... um." He frowns, "He didn't say anything."
"That's bad!" Duri says, remembering Tok Aba's warning about informing their whereabouts before going elsewhere alone, "What if he got kidnapped and we didn't notice?"
"Duri." Gempa sighed, for the second time today, in the span of ten minutes, wow, "But yes, he should've left at least a note. I'll make sure to inform him about this later."
Taufan snorts, "Have we told you how much of a mom you are?"
"Like, every year? On Mother's Day?" Gempa responds blankly.
Duri giggles while Hali just straight up bangs his head on the table, too tired to deal with his brothers' antics.

The library is Solar's natural habitat. He visits it daily and routinely, no matter what day, what weather, what time, he never forgets to visit this place. At this point, he's pretty sure he's the librarian's favourite student. The way she let him get away with almost anything is an awesome ability to have.
Solar is used t o the quiet atmosphere and the equally silent students that have the same level of insanity as his to visit the goddamn library and study at six.
What he's not used to, however, is the truly baffling sight of a brother he'd least expected to see in a library. Like, he had to freeze and load his brain as if it crashed or something. This is some big deal.
The fourth oldest brother of his hadn't seemed to notice his presence. He's holding on what Solar noticed to be a stack of... books?
Huh. Huh? He blinks hard, squinting his eyes to see if he stayed up long enough to hallucinate. Maybe Blaze wasn't holding a stack of books, maybe he isn't here at all!
But... nope. That's his older brother Blaze alright.
Which... doesn't make any sense??
What are those titles? It had to be comics books, right? That'd be the only salvageable explanation that his mind might accept and stop this brain activity of a sudden increase of sanity lost.
The only times Solar sees Blaze in the library is when he's also there. Usually, the seven brothers would study together in the library, where the higher intellect like him obviously, Ais and Halilintar, would help the others out. Taufan isn't bad at maths himself, and Duri isn't so awful at biology either. Well, each had their own strengths, like Gempa with social studies and Blaze with... PE...?
Actually, what lessons are Blaze good at?
Solar comes out blank, trying to remember Blaze's scores in the report book from last year by his eidetic memory. Blaze's pretty... average actually. He's not bad, but it's not like his scores soared high too. Like, jack of all trades, in a way.
He snapped back into focus when he saw someone approach his brother.
He looks... familiar.
Solar squinted his eyes, quietly peeking at the way they seem to interact familiarly. A friend of Blaze's? That he doesn't know?
Is this the Boboiboy guy he was talking about yesterday at lunch?
Blaze seemed to radiate sunlight with the way he beamed at the possible-senior student. Solar wished he had super sharp hearing like Gempa, because all he could see is their mouths opening and closing without any conversation managing to be caught.
His brother proudly presents the stack of books he had to the impressed senior, who claps his hand quietly with a soft smile.
Solar stared at the way he seemed to be close enough to pat Blaze's head without his hand getting bitten off by the rascal.
That's... Boboiboy, right?
