Six months had passed quickly and now yuseko was crawling and cooing but no words happened yet so like the worried parents they were asami and korra took her to the doctor where it was determined she was deaf in one ear and hearing loss in the other they also realized that the poor puppy needed to be fitted for glasses
"Asami I'm not putting these on our daughter she'll look like a nerd"
"Well korra she needs them to see at this point she can barely see the two of us in detail do you remember what the eye doctor said? He said her vision was as good as seeing with dirty blurry glasses without close details....korra she needs them"
"Fineeee where is she anyways?"
They looked around for the pup but she wasn't in her usual four areas
"I swear her and this crawling is getting out of hand"
"She's a baby korra"asami said as she walked behind the couch looking for the seven month old"that's what they do"
Suddenly they heard a high pitched scream coming from her bedroom
"SHES GONNA FALL DOWN THE STAIRSSSS"korra yelled
But soon enough they saw naga blocked the top of the stairs as the baby kept jumping up and down trying to jump down the stairs
"Oh sweetie how did you manage to climb up the stairs your to little to be doing that "asami said holding her daughters head close to hers
"Good girl naga"korra said before giving her a turkey leg which she happily ate
"I think it's time for me to finally put up all those baby gates "
"Ya think?"asami said rolling her eyes
"Cmon yusi let's go play in the living room while your mama FINALLY puts up those baby gates and baby proofs the whole house"
"the whole house???this place is huge???"
"Korra just block off all the areas she Dosent need to go in like the gym hallway or the maids closet space and all the kitchen cabinets and the hallway to the kitchen and the-"
"I get it I get it...I'm calling bolin and mako to help me tho "
One phone call and four burgers later
"Thanks for bringing burgers guys I hadn't had one in months "
"No worries" bo said
"It was the least I could do honestly "
They continued working on putting up twelve baby gates door locks,cabinet locks and whatever else asami said
"Why is this doorknob lock so complicated??"mako stressed
"Yea "bolin said "she can't even walk yet
"I know I know but what asami says goes so.."
"Guys how do you guys like the new yuseko isn't she adorable "
"OMGGGG SHES SO CUTEEEE"
Bolin almost screamed
"I'm just glad she can see me now"mako chuckled
"Yea same?"korra said looking at her pup
"Why is she staring so hard at me..."korras asked her mate
"Korra this is the first time she's seeing you in detail she's just taking in her sire features "
Suddenly the pup put out her arms to be picked up by korra for the very first time
"Hi mamas "korra said kissing her daughters cheek
"You look beautiful baby just beautiful"
"So is that all are you guys finally done fixing my neice?"mako asked
"No she still has to get her hearing aids in their coming soon tho I think tomorrow morning"
"So you'll just put them on and then she's good?"
"Oh no kya will put them on in a low noise room it's said that putting them on in say a living room with people is rather stressful plus they have to slowly adjust their hearing aids until there at the perfect level"
"AHAHAHAHHAHA"korra began spinning yuseko around which she loved and laughed at
"HERE COMES THE ICE MACHINEEE"
Yuseko loved her sire
TIME SKIPPPP later that night
They were no longer co sleeping with yuseko as she grown even tho korra hated it
" babe she should sleep in here with us tonight she has a big day tomorrow " korra said as asami read a book while yuseko crawled around in their bed
"See she's nervous" korra pouted
"Korra shes watching George Lopez I don't think she's nervous"asami chuckled
"Ok....im nervous "
"Why she isn't getting poked or going through surgery again"
"Yea but still what if the metal thing in her head like Dosent work and then they have to replace it or something "
"Korra that wouldn't happen they tested it with a fridge magnet remember in fact you were the one who brought the fridge magnet"
"Just for tonight pleaseeeee"
"Ok fine but only because I miss her sleeping with us to"
The small family fell asleep together Korra snoring lightly and yuseko moving her limbs every few minutes
The pup woke up a few times searching for her parents before finding on of theirs arms and sleeping on it
" huh??" Korra questioned from her sleep
"Oh you want snuggles I got you mamas"
Korra cuddled her daughter in her arms where they both slept happily
3:00 in the morning
"Wahhhhhhhhh ....WAHHHHHH"
"Hm? What?"korra groaned
"She's doing that thing korra grab her"
Korra picked up her pup and put her on her chest while rocking her
"It's not working she's not sleepy "
"Well she better get sleepy she isn't gonna be cranky all tomorrow because she decided to stay up all Night "
Asami leaned over and grabbed her pup attempting to nurse her
"Pfffffft hu pfffft" she spit in asami face
Asami took a deep breath "great..."
Korra turned on spy kids and grabbed yuseko who layed down and watched the movie
"Where's her bottle "
"In her room"
"Ughhhhh"
"I'll get it since I already need to clean my face "
"Thanks babe I love you"
"Mhm..."
" is that formula or did you just pump"
Asami yawned a long one before saying "pumped"
" oh ok"
Korra gave her pup her bottle and Finally after twenty five minutes minutes she was back asleep and so were korra and asami
