(John bs pov)

The next day we went to test out the drone and figure out how to work it

I left Blake to sit on the deck for a minute so I could go under water with the drone make sure everything worked fine

Pope and jjs was having a very small argument cause jj kept touching buttons until finally pope smacked jjs hand

"Hey no hit pope" Blake said pointing and finger and acting like she was in charge

"Oh Sorry Blake" pope said after turning to face her and smiling

Jj smiled and tickles Blake she laughed and dropped to her knees until he finally stopped when I came above water

"Bubba!" Blake yelled "can I swim now?"

"Sure come on in I'll catch you" I said holding my arms out and she jumped in

I I let her swim around but I stil my hands on her cause she was still learning how to swim

"Hey once we get footage of the wreck we'll bring it to the lawyer in town and file a formal claim" I explained trying to keep water from my face as Blake was splashing around

"It's such bullshit why do we have to do that?" Jj asks

"Well there is maritime salvege law" pope explained "you can't just go to to ocean floor and scoop a bunch of stuff up"

"I know i know" jj cut pope off "its just lawyers ain't cheap"

"As soon as they see the footege they'll work for a comp" i said

"How do you know all of that?" Kie asked

"My dad said it like a million times" i replied

"Yea thats fair" kie said

"This teather is like really long" pope started "in the wrong weather it could get pushed around"

"Then we'll goo ay dead calm" i said as i watched kie climb out of the pool i was gonna let blake swim fkr longer then i saw some thunder clouds

"Alright time to get out" i said. Swimming over to the water

"What no i don't want to" blaks wines

"We gotta leave cause look" i said pointing to the sky and she heard thunder and hugged me

"Oksy i wanna get out" blake said

I laughed a little amd got out and wrapped her in a towel

"Me and jj is gonna go deliver grocerys for my dad" pope explained

"Huh bubba can i go?" Blake asked

"Go where?" I asked

"With pope and jj" she asked

I looked at pope and jj wanting to knoe if its fine before i said yes

"Sure she can" jj said "come on princess"

Jj took blake from my arms

I lookee at pope for aproval and he nodded making sure it was okay

"Alright blake be goof okay?" I said "see yous later"

We all went are sepret ways

(Jjs pov)

Got all of blakes stuff and put it on the boat then climb up with me and blake in my arms

Pope got the boat ready and went to his fathers shop

We finally got there heyward started laoding the boat and ofcourse he was onn a rant

"Sit here okay?" I said

"Okay" she said sitting with a juice and fruit snacks

I jusg walked up and held my arms out and never said nothing

"Oh thank you jj" he said "sons of bitches" heyward said under his breath so the child couldn't hear

After the grocerys were loaded pope went to start the engine and i pickee up blake and sat me and her on a cooler

We took turns watching blale while the other delivered grocerys until the lasg delivery  we decidee to both go

We got over to the riches side of figure 8"

"Doesn't even look like the storm hit there" pope said

"They got genoraters bro get used to it" i said "and they said the juice will be out on the cut all summer"

"Its nice to be a kook" pope said

We finally arived at the docks pope took the delivery that had more so i could take the one that was smaller so i took blake with me

Me and blake walked up the path and delivered the grocerys and i moght have flirted with the girl for a second but jt was worth it cause i made a 100 bucks

I was so happy as me and blake walked down the path but i relized blake wasn't jumping around and trying to find thinks along the way back to the boat like she was on ths way to make the delivery

I looked down and and seen she was rubbing her eyes and yawnimg so i picked her up and she layed her head on my shoulder and fell asleep

I made it back to the dock pope was already there so i climbed up with blake still in my arms and started ranting about the money i made but soon relizee he stsyed quiet and never looked at me

"Pope?" I said calmed down "whats up with you?"

I looked at popes face more and seen a mark on his head

"Yo what happened to your face?" I said and stood up moving his hat  and seeing the gash that was worse then i thought "geez!...what happend?"

"Topper and rafe jumped me they said no pouges on there side of the island"

"What are you gonna do?" I asked

He looked at me and drove off and brought us to toppers boat we seen earlier this week

I still had blake asleep in my arms

"2020 malibu, 24-MXC the worlds finest wakesetter number one in quality luxury and performance"

"This is war pope they hit us we hit them" i said pulling up a mask and putting glasses on

I watched as pope jumped in and swam to the boat

As he did that i hung up the ladder so he could get back on the boat

It wasn't long until pope was back onto the boat

He showed me thsg plug the kept the boat from sinking

"Thats my boy" i said

"Jj" pope wispered

"Yeah?" I askee

"You can't tell anyone" he said paniked now

"Oh no yeah totally dude" i said

"No im serious dude not kie not john b nobody" i said "i did it to get back at them and cause she was asleep cause she would tell everyome not relizing it was wrong"

"Yup my lips are sealed give me that" i said taking the plug from popes hands and throwingbit as far as i could out to the water

We left and parkee at the dock to drop blake off at john bs

I walked up to the chatchue with her stuff amd blake was still asleep in my arms wow this girl must had been tired

"Hey" john b said opening the door

"Hey came to drop blake back off" i said "letting you know she has slept for hours"

"Okay thanks for taking her" he said taking blake from my arms and into his

"No problem see you later" i said and left
