Chapter 10

(The next day)

Andy and Robert wake up. Then go to wake up Elena for school.

Robert: elena it's time to wake up.

Elena: I don't want to.

Andy: come on. Do you want breakfast?

Elena: sugary cereal?

Andy: always got that.

Elena gets up: where's my outfit?

Andy: in mine and Mr.Robert's room.

Elena: when I get done getting ready. Can I watch T.V?

Andy: if we have time. I don't care.

Elena: okay.

(10 minutes later she is ready for school. she's sitting on the couch watching bluey.)

Elena: mom!

Andy: I'm getting ready in the bathroom. Come in here.

Elena runs in there: mom you look pretty.

Andy: well, thank you.

Elena: where is Mr.Robert?

Robert: right here in the closet.

Elena walks up and gives him a hug.

Robert: what was that for?

Elena: no reason. Just wanted to give you a morning hug.

Andy: aww Elena. Did you come in here just to do that?

Elena: are you mad?

Andy: what. No I am not mad.

Elena: sometimes Michaela would get mad.

Andy looks at Robert thinking the worst: why?

Elena: I don't know. But, I change my mind I don't want to go over there on the weekends. Can I stay with best friend sometimes instead?

Andy: um.. let me talk to him.

Robert: hey Elena. Why would Michaela get mad at you? Was she doing her makeup?

Elena: no if I woke up before she did she would yell at me and I told her I want my mommy and she said just for that. I can't talk to her.

Andy: well, your here with me and you are NOT going back unless court stops me.

Elena: we have to go to court?

Andy: yeah just to make sure I can keep you.

Elena: do you think I can?

Andy: I think so.

Elena: okay. If you think so.

Andy: hey why don't you go down stairs and watch bluey so me and Mr.Robert can talk.

Elena gives her mom a morning hug and kiss on the cheek: okay now I will.
