(Evening)

Akechi opened his eyes and blinked a bit. He sat up slowly.

"Ah, you're awake."

Akechi looked over at Takemi. "Takemi-san..." "So you've heard of me. Guinea pig brought you in after you passed out from a panic attack." He clenched his fists. "Damn it..." "Don't be hard on yourself. Just take it easy. The prosecutor lady has you on leave for a while to recover. No working at home, alright?" "I guess." "Here." He took the glass of water and downed it in one huge gulp. "You should probably get something to eat. Leblanc should still be open." "Hm. Kurusu-kun did promise me curry..." He got up and stretched out his limbs. "Thank you, Takemi-san." He bowed then left.

Akechi got out his phone. "Dead..." He sighed then saw Morgana watching him. "Morgana?" He went to the cat. "Kurusu-kun worried about me?" "Yeah he is! You totally flipped out!" He sighed and picked him up. "I blew my cover when I was with Kurusu-kun, Sakamoto-kun, and Kitagawa-kun..." "You sure did. Akira wanted me to get information from you." "I guess I do need to explain to him about that." "Also... who's Ren?" He tensed up. "No one..." "Akechi-" "No. Mona... no..." He carried the cat back to Leblanc and entered.

"How are you doing, kid?" "I'm better now, Boss." "Good. Sit down and tell me about Shido." Akechi sat in his seat at the bar, petting Morgana. He spilled about Shido's crime. He didn't talk about his old life, though. There was no way he could possibly do so. "I see... I knew he had something to do with that..." "Akechi." The trio turned to Akira. Akira went over and hugged him. Morgana got away quickly. He slowly hugged back. "You're alright..." "I am." Akira pulled away and quickly got behind the counter. Akira got to work on the sweet curry then got the coffee brewing. "I'm going to go... I need to process everything." Sojiro left the cafe, flipping the sign to CLOSED.

Akira served Akechi, "here." Akechi didn't waste any time. He ate and hummed in pure bliss. "I never eat home cooked meals... not since I was a child." He finished in record time then sipped his coffee. "Blue Mountain..." "I figured you's like it." "I do..." He sipped some more. Morgana jumped onto the counter. "Tell us about what you know about the Metaverse." Akira narrowed his eyes a bit. "I guess I should. I was waiting for after your next two targets... but I ruined that plan." He told them everything about his awakening to Robin Hood and the cases he solves. He also explained that there was a person abusing it under Shido's orders. "I don't know who it could be." "There's something you're not telling us." He looked down into his coffee. "You wouldn't believe me... and possibly will hate me." He closed his eyes tightly. "I don't... want to be that person anymore... I was a fool. A reckless 15 year old boy who remained foolish at 18..." "And Ren?" He got up quickly. "We're not speaking about Ren..." "Akechi-" "Just shut up, Kurusu!"

Akira and Morgana were stunned into silence. Akechi clenched his fists. "Please... just don't..." He trembled, tears threatening to fall. Akira got around and hugged him tightly. Akechi hid his face into Akira's shoulder. "I'll be on leave from the police, my fame status, and school..." "I'm sorry... Akechi." He relaxed and nuzzled his neck. "It's ok... Kurusu-kun... I shouldn't be so emotional. I can usually keep my emotions in check. It's easier to fake a smile than face the feelings I'm feeling..." They pulled away and he finished his coffee. "I'll see you sometime..." He bowed then left.

Kurusu: Medjed is not a real threat?

Akechi: No. Shido made it all up and will stop it himself to make it seem like you all did it. Please tell everyone to ignore Medjed and focus on your next target.

Kurusu: Futaba Sakura

Akechi: The original Medjed before she became Alibaba. She is suffering from her Palace. The death of her mother caused it. I don't know who killed her, though.
